Deep Sentinel is a new company that is bringing actual human 24/7 monitoring to the home security system market. With their one product package and single monitoring plan, Deep Sentinel is utilizing the advances in A.I. technology and broadband internet connections to provide a security system product that combines the ease and affordability of DIY installation with real-time monitored surveillance. As a product that's new to the market, we do not have enough feedback from users to gauge all of Deep Sentinel's claims in reliability and effectiveness. How does Deep Sentinel work?

There is currently one product option available through Deep Sentinel's online store. The Deep Sentinel Surveillance Package includes 3 next-generation exterior cameras with two-way communication and alarms, 1 smart hub with AI processor, and 4 rechargeable batteries. The Deep Sentinel system is focused on preventing intrusion before a suspect comes in contact with a residence, so there are no door/window sensors and interior cameras included in the package. The three cameras create a "virtual perimeter" that will alert the trained monitoring personnel.

24/7 live video monitoring by trained security personnel is what distinguishes Deep Sentinel from the competition. When an intruder triggers the cameras of the property's virtual perimeter, an actual human located at the monitoring center will address the suspect via two-way communication on the camera itself. Threats are stopped even before a suspect can get to the window or door of a residence. At $49 per month, Deep Sentinel's monitoring is not the least expensive in the industry. But there's currently no competition in the sector who offers the same type of live surveillance protection in a consumer home security system.

How much does Deep Sentinel cost?

Deep Sentinel currently offers one product package and one monitoring plan. The hardware package is currently discounted from $700 to $400 and the monitoring subscription is $49 per month with a one-year commitment. In the event of cancellation the live monitoring subscription within the 12-month contract, the customer would be responsible for the unpaid balance through the remainder of the term. After the first year, the subscription is automatically renewed month-to-month. A discount of over 20% off the regular subscription rate is available to those who pay annually; annual subscriptions renew automatically for another full-year.

Deep Sentinel Corp. (“Deep Sentinel”), warrants to the owner of the enclosed product that the Deep Sentinel hardware product contained in this box (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery following the original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If the Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty during the Warranty Period, Deep Sentinel will, at its sole discretion, either (a) repair or replace any defective Product or component; or (b) accept the return of the Product and refund the money actually paid by the original purchaser for the Product. Repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at Deep Sentinel’s sole discretion. If the Product or a component incorporated within it is no longer available, Deep Sentinel may, at Deep Sentinel’s sole discretion, replace the Product with a similar product of similar function. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this Limited Warranty. Any Product that has either been repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the terms of this Limited Warranty for the longer of (a) ninety (90) days from the date of delivery of the repaired Product or replacement Product, or (b) the remaining Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original purchaser to subsequent owners, but the Warranty Period will not be extended in duration or expanded in coverage for any such transfer.

At the time of our initial review, Deep Sentinel has not published the scope of its integration with existing smart home devices and mobile applications. We expect at minimum for Deep Sentinel to have both iPhone and Android apps with the ability to remotely monitor the live video feeds of the installed security cameras.

Deep Sentinel is a newcomer to the home security system market with its "Deep Sentinel" system having its introduction at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show. Reliability and usability experiences have yet to be reported and the company does not have reviews at either TrustPilot or the Better Business Bureau. However, the previous successes in the technology sector of Deep Sentinel's executives bodes well for their home security product. I was ready to purchase / sign up until I watched the CEO's video and learned his feelings about the BLM riots. I then spoke about my concerns with the agent who I had previously spoken with "Andrew" who said I was crazy. You LOST A SALE AND A CUSTOMER . I hope you go bankrupt.

I am a new customer had this service for a week. I been looking at other services and had bought other camera systems and nothing like this one, my last system I had was always beeping, everytime I look at the cameras either birds or bugs set off the alarm I would stop not look at the cameras cause I would get up to 20 notifications a day and nothing. The times that I didnt look at the system I had someone in my backyard walking around or someone looking in my mailbox. This system my neighbor was looking in his own truck parked in between our house, agents contacted my neighbor and also called me to confirm in less than a minute. I really like this system.

I feel 100% more secure, having these cameras around my home with live human eyes and ears monitoring them when I'm not. The wifi connectivity issue mentioned by another reviewer has been solved by Deep Sentinel through a software update to the hub. My system now never seems to disconnect, but if it did (which it did continuously at first b/c of my modem...more on that later), it automatically and quickly reconnects without any input from me. This system makes so much more sense to me than any other system out there because there is no delay and no guesswork over who or what breached the perimeter of my yard (not my house--imagine waking up in the night to the sound of someone already... I'm an early adopter (April 2019). The system works as advertised except for one nuisance issue and one fatal flaw. The nuisance issue is that battery life is much shorter than advertised, so keep your ladder handy (we're getting 6-8 weeks on our front door). And given the lightweight camera mounts you will then have to check and adjust protection zones. Now the kicker: if your internet drops out the Deep Sentinel system must be manually power cycled to reestablish protection. You'll realize how ofter this actually happens (and how well EVERYTHING ELSE in your house deals with it) if you buy the Deep Sentinel system. I have been a beta user of Deep Sentinel since December, and the level of comfort I now experience both in my home and when I'm on the road is great. Knowing an agent is watching the cameras almost all the time, and being able to test the system and say hello to an agent is pretty awesome. The app displays all the events where people were at my home each day, ultimately, I feel like I dont miss a thing.
