This is not ADT! SCAM SCAM SCAM. Adt does the monitoring but "defenders" or "Protect your home" does the install of cheap internet purchased cheesy equipment. On my third motion detector and second keypad . Sitting on hold (AGAIN) as I type this.
More than 15 calls to get me off the hook for their service and 3 x my wife was stood up for an appt. KEEP AWAY! or You deserve what you get.

RUN!!! Unbelievably awful customer service! In the beginning everything seems awesome, they are very helpful and responsive so you choose to go with them. Until you run into your first issues, which you will very quickly, then the blame game and I don't knows begin. They basically do their best to frustrate the customer so much that they give up on the issue! Awesome customer service strategy guys! If you stick with it and call and call and call you will eventually get someone to help you but by then is all the time and headache you spent really worth it!?! I m a foster mom I called talk to a rep told him what I was looking for he told me I could get the $850 dollars system free plus the door bell camera free I ask about the $99 installation hoping they could bill me on first bill the reps supervisor got in the phone and told me not but if I would pay the $99 dollar installation fee she would throw in 2 extra surveillance camera I ask her several times so if I pay you now I get everything you just mention for the $99 installation fee plus $58 dollars of month will be locked in she said yes ma’am so after she processed my $99 dollars the installer came out to install everything that supervisor mentioned that he couldn’t install the camera and... We recently had an ADT system installed and we were quite satisfied with the process. A-A-Ron, our installer, was very knowledgeable, efficient and personable. He even came back the next day (a Sunday) and walked us through the system because we weren't able to stay for the tutorial. The main complaint I would have is that there are a lot of hidden costs, it was quite expensive to install (at least more than i was prepared to spend). Bu overal, i am satisfied with the system.

ADT SHOULD BE YOUR LAST CHOICE. And even then you should run the other direction.
I spent over $10 k dollars with ADT and my system is literally useless. They refuse to send a
technician out to service our system which has gone down, due to our cancellation of the
monitoring service. Fact is its still their ADT product throughout my commercial bldg, for which
I offered to pay the service fee, and they refuse. WOW!!!!! I dont like petty reviews, but trust me
I just dont want to see you get ripped off in the same manner as myself and so many others. I have
now had a local security co come and fix ADTs mess. should have gone with my local co to begin with.

ADTs monitoring service overall was good but the monthly monitoring fees are kind of high and when you go to cancel, be prepared for a hassle. I have been with ADT for 11 years which was partly due to the fact that when I moved, I could not cancel without paying a very high fee. Then when I moved the service, ADT would create a new contract, extending and locking me into another term when I specifically advised I did not want to extend the contract. Also, I was told in our moves that we could not take equipment we had installed and move it to a new house. Have wasted two days waiting on installation! Never showed, both days! Supposed to be here yesterday between 8-10 and today 12-2! ADT higher ups need to be aware of their third party installer lack of commitment!

We have had ADT service for over 20 years and have been very pleased. We are currently moving to another home and are looking to install ART in our new home as well. Yes their prices have gone up for service, but I am yet to be sold on other companies.

Great company. My parents had them for years as a kid and we never had any issues. The one time we did have someone try to break into our house, they were there right away and it was the best decision we could have done!
