New for 2022, ADT security systems feature the Google Nest doorbell. The highly-rated device features HD video and two-way audio. How much does ADT Home Security cost?

ADT offers five security system service plans to choose from: Basic ($28.99/month), Secure (45.99/month), Smart (49.99/month), Video ($56.99/month), and Complete ($59.99/month). Plans require a 36-month minimum contract. Additionally, in the event of early contract termination, ADT may require the client to pay 75% of the monthly charges due for the balance of the first 36-months. The company does offer a 6-month money-back guarantee and a limited warranty for their products (restrictions apply), but overall, ADT seeks a long-term commitment from the customer.

To help protect customers against the cost of unexpected service calls, ADT offers extended limited warranty protection, called their Quality Service Plan, or QSP. While ADT's electronic technology is designed to meet the highest standards, no manufactured equipment is 100% perfect. QSP adds additional coverage some customers might prefer.

In addition, ADT operates six monitoring centers. In the event that your assigned monitoring center goes offline, a security breach or call for help from your home will be automatically rerouted to the next available center.

The ADT Essentials plan for basic digital monitoring service has a limited warranty on parts and labor, something that other competitors do not offer. If you want additional protection, the Essentials Plus package includes 2-way voice monitoring. Like all plans, this one includes monitoring for police, fire, and medical emergencies. However, both plans require customers to have access to their own landline phone.

Customers who do not have landlines can opt for the ADT Secure plan. This plan includes monitoring for police, fire, and medical emergencies and add the peace of mind that comes from knowing that an intruder cannot cut your home’s landline. There is an ADT protection plan for all budgets and needs.

ADT Home Security systems are very user-friendly, and during installation, the technician will show you how to use the equipment. There is technical support available to answer any questions customers have about the equipment. ADT offers professional installation, several monthly plans with competitive rates, and allows users to choose between wireless and hardwired systems. Keep in mind, though, that customers must sign a three-year agreement for all ADT security monitoring plans.

Stay away. Terrible customer service.. Have scheduled two technician appointments and both times no showed. Called customer service and all they could do is appoint another four hour window which they they say they can’t guarantee. Why bother giving a time window then? Just give a day and just wait it would be about the same. Called three times and even spoke with a supervisor and they were all less than helpful. I will switch my business account immediately and switch my home as soon as this worthless contract runs out.

My mother lives in Puerto Rico and decided to get the ADT alarm system. She has had many problems with this system and when she calls the company for service they answer from Texas and the customer service reps tell her that she has to buy the parts out of pocket. I have tried to find the power supply online and I can't find it. I told her to stop paying the bill. I'm sure they'll reach out quick asking for the payment but no service.

We used ADT for our home for several years when they contacted us and said "they could no longer serve us because our area went to 5G and unless we got a landline we couldn't use them anymore." We wrote a letter of termination and emailed it to them per their request, but they decided to keep charging us. They continued to charge our cc monthly even after I called a few times to let them know they were no longer covering our property. We sent them a few emails and more phone calls, but they kept charging us. I'V LOST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO THIEVES SINCE ADT INSTALLED ITS JUNK. DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS. WILL GIVE ADT DUE CREDIT,; IT'S NEVER MISSED A BUG. IN REALITY, THEY ARE A FRAUDULENT ORGANIZATION!

I have an adt system and I want to add 1 window sensor. I just found out the the software does not have an option to add additional items and that I have to pay for a technician to come out to install it?! That is crazy. I called to get the installation code so I could add the device through the service menu on my control panel and was told that I could not have it. I own the system!!! Why doesn't the software app allow ME to add to MY system? Simply safe and others all it. This is a huge missing function. If I cannot add a simple window sensor without paying installation costs or if I cannot get the installation code, note that when my contract is ended I will not be renewing... Read More

I purchased ADT based on reading some reviews and blogs that compared it to Vivint. I thought based on the time in business and etc, I was making the right choice. Boy was I wrong. I figured I'd be covered by the 6-month money-back guarantee but that was also a lie. They only refund you fully after 3 DAYS. So now it's $1,400 for me to cancel. The money-back-guarantee is only possible if they can't fix a technical issue, not if you're not happy with the service like they lead you to believe. The worst alarm company I have ever dealt with up in the New England area .1st they do not have any techs near my area. The reps on the phone make appts with you, come to found out every time you stay home for that open window slot 12-5pm NOT 1 tech or rep called to tell me something came up ,I had called from Oct 2020- Jan 2021 with different reps using the same excuse sorry the tech has a doctor appt or thats the day he has off ,lmao that is the most stupid dumbest LIE a rep can make each time the tech doesnt show up .That is not how you run a big business Telling your customers on the phone the same lie 4x in a row ,Thats not keeping up to par on their end of the bargain when you sign... Due to the rising cost in my ADT monthly billing, I am trying to cancel my account. ADT is not very helpful in this process as the first agent in the cancellation department took my information and asked me to hold while she transfers me. I went right back in the queue to start all over. The next agent confirmed cancelling my service but when I asked for confirmation by email he placed me on a very long hold and I ended back in the queue again. Not sure if my account is canceled or not and will have to call in yet a third time.

ADT di a bait and switch on me. The equipment was broken nd did not work properly, I was charged a price told me it would be another price for a year ad then the price would increase for the second year. They charged me full price when I checked my bank account. I called to complain about the charge and they would only adjust it to half the amt I'm sure because I didn't take their upgrades they insisted on showing me. I told the installer maybe later but just wanted the basic package. . They kept insisting they would only half the price and were not even interested in repair of their new equipment. Around and Around we go! I was an ADT customer for many many years, then we sold our home and moved into a rental, The rental had an ADT system installed but needed an upgrade so we called and made an appointment, we paid all the fee's to get the service going, with that came a one year contract which was delivered by email in PDF. I have proof. The monthly rate started out at 44.99 per month. I called ADT a few months later when I found out I should have gotten a promotional rate of 34.99 who doesn't want to save 10 bucks a month?
