Eargo hearing aids help wearers process and understand speech more clearly, amplifying mid and high auditory frequencies. The company's products were designed by an ENT surgeon with more than thirty years' experience in the field with thousands of patients. Products were subsequently tested by audiologists and hearing professionals before being put into production. Since wearers generally need time to readjust to the hearing audio frequencies they may have missed for years--similar to how eyes adjust to glasses or contacts--Eargo has built a team of licensed personal hearing professionals to help each client through this process.

Eargo devices are extremely discreet. They're so invisible, you truly have to look very closely to see the tiny black end of their hearing aids. Eargo is also very attentive to comfort. Their patented Flexis, made from medical-grade silicone, help their devices rest comfortably in the ear and allows natural, ambient-lost frequencies to pass through into the eardrum. Eargo's least expensive product, the Max, was named one of Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2018. Every Eargo customer is assigned a licensed hearing professional for assistance after receiving the device. Customers are then able to book an introductory call and subsequent support calls as needed until they feel comfortable using the device. Eargo offers two types of warranties that come standard with its products. There is a 12 or 24-month manufacturer warranty that covers manufacturing defects. This will be void if the wearer modifies or damages the unit(s). Eargo also includes an uncommon loss & damage warranty which will cover devices that are lost or damaged beyond repair. In such cases, the company will send you replacements at a discounted rate.

The original warranty covers unlimited repairs and one-time loss/damage coverage per unit. The Eargo warranty begins on the date that the new system is received by the client.

I have been using Eargo 6 for over a month. The Eargo’s have greatly helped my hearing. They are comfortable (with medium open petals for my ears). My adaptation to them happened as they predicted. All in all, they are relatively not noticeable. In addition, the customer support, both technical and sales is excellent with super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. The entire process is very approachable thanks to their process and people.

Life changing product. I would recommend the Eargo7 to anyone who is considering OTC hearing aids. Easy to setup and also easy to setup personal programs. Love the features of changing programs simply by tapping your ears.

My Eargo Neos never lasted more than a year, losing their volume or the battery stopped recharging. They were replaced under warrantee, but the original warrantee of 2 years remains in place. If the replacement goes out again outside of the original 2 year warrantee, their is no warrantee. I have been happy with their performance, but defects before 1 year make it a questionable purchase on cost effectiveness. I will see what else is now available over the counter to see if there are more refined, updated, reliable hearing aids available before I make a decision.

The Eargo 6 sounds marginally better than my 6-year-old prescription hearing aids but it brings a whole new set of frustrations. Itchy ears, hard to remove (that little tail can be hard to find in your ear). The phone app is ok for doing "Sound Match" but the remote-control function is useless unless you can figure out exactly the where the phone should be held, Perhaps it works better if you can pat your head and rub your stomach while holding the phone in front of your face. Recharable batteries are a win.

Awesome product, Much better than traditional behind the ear hearing aids and almost completely invisible. The quality of the devices and the sound clarity is hard to believe. On top of all that, the customer service and the attention I have received from their representatives is unmatched as compared to interactions I’ve experienced with other companies.
