Kaiser is not new patient friendly. Be very careful choosing Kaiser for your new healthcare provider. Their web page has several glitches and will re-route you in circles. It's maddening. Their member services are not any better at helping a new member feel they have made a good choice with putting Kaiser in charge with their health. If you get the runaround and bad advice from the beginning, how can you feel confident that you are going to get the best care moving forward? It's your responsibility to insure you have the best care available to you. Chose you healthcare wisely. If they can't get it right from the beginning, you can't have confidence they will improve as time moves... Read More

Kaiser's billing practices are deceptive. They indicate their preventative care is at no charge, but that's nonsense. I just went for my yearly physical. The doctor found a little wax in my ear, and removed it. I was not told that removing the wax from my ear was a separate procedure I would be charged for, but I received a bill. As well, I specifically told the doctor not to request any lab work for which I might be charged, and she agreed. I received a bill for the lab work. Their rules state they won't charge a lab work fee unless they find anomalies; unfortunately, THEY WILL find anomalies. In my case the anomalies were not clinically or medically significant, and did not warrant... Read More

Basically RN and PA care for the cost of $$$$ Premiums. Doctors are being overworked like line people working in a sardine factory, such that most experienced GPs and specialists have jumped ship, mostly taken retirement. What are left are less experienced doctors, or newbies, and 3-4 months out to get an appointment even with them. For anything sooner have to go with a PA or a nurse. The pharmacist at a nearby grocery/pharmacy probably knows more than some of these folks..

Worst health insurance I have ever had. They doctors are incompetent and screwed up my care in multiple major ways. I don't care how cheap it is, I will never use KP again.

My Grandmother paid into Kaiser Permanente Platinum plan her whole life , into her 80s. She developed dementia , had a stroke and was unable to care for herself. With no relatives in Oregon , I moved her to Montana to care for her. Kaiser Permanente cut off her benefits because they have no coverage in Montana. She counted on their help and they left her with nothing!!!!Be careful!!

Kaiser sent my $180 bill to a collection agency even tho I was making payments. The world is in a global pandemic, people can’t work and pay bills. I was attempting to pay off my bill because I had been able to work some. However, I couldn’t pay it as fast as they wanted, so they chose to do this. They’re evil.

Do not get this insurance. There is a reason why this company used to be called group death. Their name may have changed but not their practices. I have been misdiagnosed by this organization so much that I have lost total faith in them. The latest example is one of their doctors refusing to fix a labral tear in my left hip. It hurt so bad that I could barely walk. The spinal doctor I went to said I needed surgery but the hip specialist at the capital hill kaiser said I was too old for surgery at 56 years. She went on to say that people get these tears as we age. Well except I fell off my porch and landed on concrete so it wasn't an age problem. She also refused to look at the mri the... Read More

I have had Kaiser for over 40 years. Just this year I had a bad accident, needed surgery and hospital stay, out of state..they paid everything; then had to have more surgery for the same injury again when I came back home..no problem. My doctors email me back with 48 hours, usually less than that and I have never had to wait to get an appointment. The only problem with Kaiser is that it is not in more than a few states. So wish it was in Nevada or Arizona. Will stay with Kaiser.

Kaiser is a nightmare for my Mom who is 84. We are dealing with a number of medical errors. Kaiser will also keep you waiting for 3-4 months for an appointment In Behavioral Medicine. Is Illegal and Unethical. Shame on Kaiser!!!

I've tried multiple times to combine my account with my new wife. Its been a horrible experience and I'm sick and tired of getting the "run around". Your customer service sucks and I will be leaving you soon. Too bad, because the rest of your departments are pretty good at what they do. Your VP of CX should be fired.
