There has to be much better choices for flower delivery. There was no mention of a $17.95 service charge. Interestingly, I could have ordered from the local florist who wound up being the people who delivered the flowers without a service charge. In addition, delivery was clearly requested on the 26th of the month (a birthday) and the invoice clearly shows that date. Unfortunately, they delivered it on the 25th (two hours after the order was placed). I called customer service and they said there was no deliveries on that date even though it was a delivery choice when I made the order and again, the invoice clearly indicated that date. I did an online order because that's what they push, immediately I received an e-mail telling me to call their 877 no. after 15 minutes of being on hold someone finally came on and told me they did not have the flowers I wanted but did have some that were $15 more, I immediately cancelled the order, then I got an e-mail telling me that the charge was issued back to my card and I would see it in about 10 days! they charged my card and did not have the item, not to mention it is my moms 96th birthday and now I don't have the funds to get her anything for up to 10 days! They Suck!

I am on Day 4 of trying to contact Avas about Flowers that were NEVER delivered. The automated contact page has placed me on hold for hours, has hung up with the "Good-bye" automation, I have requested a call back within the time frames they offer 3 times and NEVER received a call back. I cannot find a way to get to an actual human being. These were flowers for a deceased person's family....they claimed were delivered. I used their automated system for ordering and even entered the Apt. # and directions on how to buzz in in their special messaging system and yet the automation continues to say they were delivered on X date. HORRIBLE FRAUD They continue to say an order was delivered that was not delivered. UPS, FEDex, show no delivery. I am going through my credit card company to get refund as I can't reach anyone at Ava's, if this is actually a company.

This company is nothing but a big FRAUD. I ordered a premium floral arrangement that cost me $100. It looked like it was a bouquet from Walmart. Actually I would have been better off getting them there. I called the number and was on the phone with an out of the country service rep (which put me on hold several times for long periods of time) for over a HOUR and she told me I can have my money back or have flowers resent. I told her I wanted my money back and she said that is fine. I will receive an email of when they will pick the flowers up. Well Then of course the phone call mysteriously gets disconnected/drops. Horrible...do not use! I ordered flowers 3 days in advance of required delivery. On day of delivery I get an email (not a call) at 11:30 am to contact them about an issue with my order. Takes them forever to answer the phone. First they tell me the flowers cannot be in a basket, as ordered, but put in a vase. I say fine. Then they say they cannot be red, white and blue, as ordered, as they can’t get them (this is the day of delivery and now you tell me, but during the covid19 virus) but can do pink, lavender and white, so I say fine, but then I try to confirm they are still going out fir delivery that day as ordered! This company in my opinion is a scam. Ordered flowers over phone and were supposed to be delivered same day. They were never delivered. Called back to inquire and received no help. DO NOT USE THEM!

Ava's flowers has THE WORST customer service of any place I have ever ordered. They are impossible to get in touch with and add service charges at checkout that they do not advertise. Warning. Do not use them.

This was the worst experience ever! I sent $150 worth of flowers for a funeral in another state on behalf of my dad for his brother's funeral. My dad is ill and could not travel to the funeral. When the flowers from the funeral was posted on Facebook I saw that the flower message was incorrect, it was not from my dad. Avas gave me a $10 discount for the error

I can barely even give them one star. The flowers that arrived on Valentines Day were pitiful. My husband was embarrassed. He could have found better at the local grocery store for 1/5 the price. The rose arrangement was nowhere near as full and glorious as pictured on their website. And the additional charges for things like a bow and "full sized card" were almost humorous given the low-end quality of the items.
