Quizzle gets high marks from us as they are a great resource for customers to learn about credit without paying a dime. Most people don't know all the factors that are dragging their score down, and Quizzle's tools, particularly the trending and score analysis features, can really help demystify the process and give concrete steps for the future. When you get to the paid plans the emphasis shifts to identity theft protection. Quizzle gives the industry standard $1 million in insurance but does so at a price lower than most. Most useful, though, is the tri-bureau dispute resolution feature. As anyone knows who has gone through dealing directly with credit bureaus, targeted, professional assistance can save hours in wasted time and effort.

Credit Score & Reports

Report Details and Frequency - 4 / 5

Quizzle's free plan provides customers with a TransUnion credit report and credit score every three months. The credit score is the VantageScore model. Although more and more financial organizations are using VantageScore, the majority still rely on official FICO scores. So customers should be warned the score they get through Quizzle might not necessarily be the one a lender is looking at. Quizzle's two paid plans provide the same report and scores but on a monthly basis. It is more or less common for this kind of website and the price. Those wishing to get their entire credit picture from all three bureaus including official FICO scores will have to look elsewhere, and likely pay more.

Monitoring & Tools

Credit Bureau & Credit Scores - 4.5 / 5

Quizzle's Pro Plus plan offers the most features and tools at $15/month. This includes public records scan, sex offender monitoring, lost wallet protection, and $1 million in identity theft protection. However, the free plan offers a host of utilities that you'd usually have to pay for with other companies. This includes credit comparison, which explains why your score went up or down; credit timeline, which shows how your score has historically changed; credit trending, which shows exactly what you are doing to effect your credit; and score analysis, which explains the steps you must take to improve your credit.

Quizzle Plans & Pricing

Plans and Pricing - 4.5 / 5

The quarterly credit report and credit score, as well as the useful credit building tools mentioned above, all come with Quizzle's free plan. Although many credit reporting services have free plans, few are as generous as this. Quizzle Pro offers all this but gives you the score and report monthly, and Pro+ is the only plan to have all the identity theft protections including the $1 million in insurance.

Quizzle Reputation & Support

Monitoring and Extra Features - 4 / 5

Quizzle does not have much in terms of online feedback. Although the company has a A grade with the BBB, there are no reviews of the company, positive or negative. Similarly, Quizzle has no Trustpilot presence. However, the negative reviews that do exist have all been personally and diligently addressed by company representatives. Since Quizzle is a free service that requires no credit card or purchase, it is our recommendation that customers try the service out first and judge the quality of interaction themselves before committing to a more robust, paid plan.
