I am very very unhappy with Lens.com right now. I paid for 2 day deliver and a week later still no contacts. I called today to find out what was going on... gave all my information (for the 3rd time) and the customer service lady told me she has no idea when someone would get to the order. It needs to be approved by a manager. This is the same thing I was told 3 days ago. No guarantees.... sorry. Apparently the fact that I was spending $500 was a problem. Never again! I will NEVER use Lens.com again!!

So I have a love/hate relationship with Lens.com. I have been ordering from them for years, but some of their practices bother me. I keep ordering because it's consistently the best price I can find on my lenses, and I always receive them quickly in the mail. So what's the issue? I view their pricing strategies to be a little shady. I have found that the contact lenses, at least the brand I buy, to be a different price depending on how you get to their website. Go directly to their website and type in the brand? You'll probably see a higher price. Click on an email to reorder your lenses? You'll probably see a higher price. Placed an order with them and was supposed to get $40 rebate from the manufacturer. I actually placed it from lens.com rebate center where it redirected me to order the lenses i needed. Order delivered and i never received the attachment for the rebate. I called customer service and was told that’s my order doesn’t qualify and there’s nothing they can do. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Their website is misleading and you can get the lens for less on other more reputable sites

They send out older boxes with short expiration dates. I bought a 1 yr lens supply and the expiration for the entire box they sent me was 1 year. Unfortunately, I did not notice this until much later. I asked them for a replacement for unused portion, and they said not possible. Go with another online seller. Lens.com is unethical in their business practice.

Now over 6 weeks and still no contacts Been a customer of theirs for 10+ years, but latest order (same type of contacts) has been "in-fullfillment" status for 5 weeks. Called several times and each time they say the contact are coming in a date 2 days off and then they will ship. Last time I order from these guys, something has changed there and not for the better. UPDATE: Hannah (lens.com) called me after my original review and said they would split ship my order, sending right contacts immediately and the lefts would ship in a week. I will never order anything from www.lens.com again!!! By far the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. It took them two weeks to let me know that my contacts are not in their possession. So when I called them to check on my status, they stated that it will ship the next day. Two days later, no update so I called again. Again, another representative saying the contacts are not here. I got a little confused by that statement. If they are not there, where are they? and Why are they not there if you clearly have them available on your website!? So after many phone calls, I decided to cancel my order and now I'm waiting on my refund.

I will never use Lens.com again and highly recommend anyone to find another company. Many issues: a) they took over 1 week to verify my prescription with my eye doctor; b) 2 weeks after my order was placed I had not heard so contacted them, was told that my lenses were on back order but should ship shortly; c) when my lenses arrived 3 weeks after ordering one eye was incorrect - after repeated calls to Lens.com and my eye doctor Lens.com was able to confirm they had screwed up and would ship me the correct lenses; d) several days later I received an email saying I had been credited for the 2 wrong boxes, I then called and was told I would have to reorder the proper lenses - directly... I am VERY disappointed in my contact lens purchase from lens.com. I ordered contact lens on October 15 and scheduled to receive them between Oct. 26-31. However, by October 31 I had not received a shipping notification. I called the company to be told that the contact I ordered were OUT OF STOCK the day I ordered them. There was NO information on the website about the contacts being out of stock. I never would have placed the order in the first place if this was the case. I asked them to contact me to let me know when the lenses would be in stock and I was never contacted. Where is my refund??? After 2 weeks waiting after I submitted my first complaint on lens.com, I STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY CHECK!!!! The lens.com just "promised" to refund, but you will never get your refund! Please do not trust the refund policy. After I submit my first complaint, they admitted that I did return 12 boxes not 4 boxes, they tried to lure me to delete the review. I promised to delete the review after I received the refund. I guess they just don't care any customer feedback!!!
