Was involved in a rear collision by a Safeauto customer. Have been waiting for over 3 weeks for someone to contact me regarding how to get my car repaired. I was able to get a claim #, but have never seen or heard from an adjuster.
AWFUL customer service. Also, don't count on getting any sort of refund if you decide to cancel your policy.
If you decide to go with SafeAuto, I would STRONGLY recommend NOT doing autopay. I was billed twice for the last month of my policy and was told there were some sort of hidden cancellation fees totalling near $400.
Safe Auto sucks. They give you a "quote" and then add an additional fee AFTER you have chosen to accept the quote. But if you CANCEL after accepting the quote, you still have to pay additional fees (because they ran your reports, etc... well doesn't EVERY SINGLE INSURANCE COMPANY run your reports before quoting you? And THEN, at the end of the policy period, they charge fees to cancel, even if you don't cancel early. Their reasoning is that they sent you a renewal bill and they ran your reports again, and it is an "earned" fee because they ran your reports again (even though you had not chosen to renew with them!!!) 0 starts for Safer Auto. They suck.
