I looking for a new insurance company. My current company has zero customer service and everything is done through a web page. My primary criteria when looking for a new company is customer service a web portal that works. Allstate's portal after spending the time and energy to generate a quote, said "unable to process your quote at this time".
Fatal error. If a company can't hire competent web designers I know the customer service and the rest of the company is going to be equally incompetent.
More expensive insurance but their service is good. Always check to make sure they give you all discount credit on what your auto qualifies for as they will miss some!
How can Allstate be rated #1? They are great when they are collecting your premiums. They are proven to be dishonest in delaying claims and you are totally screwed if you have to go through uninsured motorist with them. Written by a 30 year customer.
hello I can totally agree with my other allstate policyholders it been one delayed tactic after another . I did all the documentation,photos, phone call, photos of the other motorists that actually ran a stop sign . Did a verb and written recording . over 100 phone calls recording and still have more delays. it going on 4 weeks. This should have been handle with in 7 to 10 days . The rent car is biggest joke. they had me pay for it up front and think I going to pay for a car for 7 days . still have not looked at mine. So they can keep it I return it let them pay for it. If I could award negative stars I would. Had a tree hit my house and damage my car last August, I personally laid out over $15K to get repairs done, ( the scratches and dents on my car STILL haven't been repaired) ALLSTATE, specifically the 7th adjuster Thomas Blades, said they feel they reimbursed me for the damages, I'm still $3K short of getting my own money back and they refuse to pay me after I sent in EVERYTHING they asked for. The pictures of everything damaged and contractors pictures plus every receipt. I now have to pay to have the rest of the siding replaced on my house because they said they don't pay for "age or discoloration" . After 30+ years with them and only 2 previous... Read More
They are saying in the news that they are giving back 15% in car insurance but then they raise my insurance by 20.00 dlls!!!!!with my 6 months renewal and my home insurance raised for another 20.00 dlls !!!!! where is the Help in this difficult times with the coronavirus?!!!!! also when my bedroom ceiling was leaking and called them, they told me after checking my ceiling that is not covered. I will change to another company. I give them cero rating. Be carful with this company.
Need to change logo of your in good hands. The only one in good hands are them when you pay them. Good luck geating a claim though.
insured two vehicles for $609 for 6 months and dropped one vehicle. My policy is now $599 for one vehicle. i expected the premium to be around $325. What a shock.!!!! looking for another insurance company. We have been with Allstate for almost 30 years.
Got a phone call from Allstate to switch insurance to them. They promised to keep my rates very close or same as my present insurance company(State Farm) and they would provide more coverage. Gave them all information about any tickets or accidents and they were able to match the price. well I pay the first month, everything is fine but then the next bill jumps up almost 75 dollars. I called Allstate and they said it is a surcharge for an accident that happened almost three years ago, which I disclosed in very beginning . I made a valid claim on renter's insurance policy bought from Allstate. Allstate claims representative, Mr. Kirkner, yelled at me over phone that the security deposit is never returned to the renter and that I bought the lowest premium renter's insurance from Allstate. He completely discredited the Allstate product on the phone and took no responsibility. He never contacted the land lord or the property manager to get any more information. Now this claim, as a risky claim, is on my credit report forever. I can no longer obtain any renter's insurance or homeowner's insurance. They have become a dishonest and fraudulent company trying to change you extra money. Do not sign up with them.
I had issues getting them to appraise and cover my camp trailer when the side of it was burned. It took several months of daily follow up to get it fixed and covered. My rates doubled with very short notice ( I was on vacation no phone call) because my 22 year old daughters license had my address. She does not drive my cars and have not asked to add her to my insurance, but she was added by All State anyway. I showed. DO NOT USE Allstate insurance terrible company. I was with Allstate for more that 7 years and I have perfect driving record never car accident no any speeding ticket, and my policy go up and up in 4 years went up in duble payment, when I talk on phone why my insurance raising every 6 month they sad because a lot of people have accident in FL, I have to pay for someone insurance. When i submitted a a claim to Allstate they apprised my car based on a new method called Cash Value which is a new way of giving you less for your car. They claim it is based on an average of 50 cars or more in your area and then they use the bottom end of this new ratng system minus your deductable which leaves you with hardly anything to purchase another car. When i challenged the to replace my car with another car that was equal in features, body conditiion, and engine mileage they would not agree and went back to their new rating system whcih screws the customer and benefits Allstate. Insured with Allstate is not good hands , our truck trailer mirror was damadged when an employee was driving it into the shop for an inspection , I called our allstate agent immediately and he said have police report and we had it all covered. WRONG, even with report from police when they came out to the scene, Allsataes adjuster came out and said since we let him drive our truck , it wasn't covered , its our responsibility and there is no coverage for that. If you are insured with Allstate watch out if your car is stolen, they may be prompt in settling claims but their promptness is only to cover up how they estimate the value of your vehicle so they can pay you less than what the vehicle is actually worth. Our car was stolen and they made a direct deposit in our bank account, but what they paid is nowhere near what it will cost to replace the car with the same year and model with the same mileage. However our car was found just yesterday, and the insurance company woun't allow us to buy it back for the same amount they gave us, and told us we could bid on it in 6-8 weeks.
