Checkr , Please be honest with your clients .
Don't be greedy and let them know that Checkr can not keep up or handle so many requests at once and the clients should look else where for help for excess requests.
I work with the county courthouse and they are open , so there is no excuse for this delay.
Checkr is costing or delaying American Citizens of their jobs and billions of dollars for what => Greed.
These folksare sleazy, crooked, and inaccurate. They cost me a job and I'm actively pursuing the issue.
This company has been in existence for 6 years, since 2014 and is a complete chicken coop operation. Since 2015 they have faced 80+ lawsuits relating to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. My story is when the pandemic hit I attempted to pick up so gig work and Checkr provided erroneous background checks to multiple potential employers. This company has very poor customer service, if one can even call their responses to inquiries and complaints customer service. I plan on taking this company to court for lost wages, not removing erroneous information from my background checks, and violating the FCRA. This company is a total rip-off. They charged me for a New York background check even though I have never lived or worked there. When I tried to dispute it they said they would not discuss the charges or results with me. When I tried to call, the phone does not connect you with a real person, just a recorded message that then hangs up on you.
I'm not sure if it's you fault or the fault of the district attorney in San Bernardino County, but either way your program is releases false background information of me and it's more than likely costing me work. Zero customer service or relations. It's worthless and only causes grief.
One of the worst companies i have ever worked with. They will not get back to you in a timely fashion, and seem to have a very hard time communicating in general especially when their are deadlines involved. Overall just a terrible support team.
CHECKR: Has to be the most incompetent background checking company. I will be trying to put this company out of business. Because they must be so stupid that even if you send them updated verifiable proof they still will report the same information after there investigation. No 1 will get a job if this sorry ass company is doing your background.
They seem like the screw you out of work every since they been running my background get turned down job after job three words PRE ADVERSE ACTION. I've applied for 9 jobs and got none. My background ranges from 5 to 15 years old but that doesn't matter when Checkr involved
Don't plan on getting a job soon if your prospective employer uses this service. They are slower than congress.
The worse experience, I have a TWIC card which requires a Homeland Security in depth background check including fingerprints and it took less than three weeks. I am going on four weeks waiting for checkr to complete me to drive for Uber. No support via phone for pending checks and through email support it is the same infor every background check is different. Fortunately I had other options and feel sorry for people that have no options. They are not customer friendly as long as the checks keep cashing from Uber and Lyft.
