Checkr is unresponsive. The automated response system does not understand the questions being asked. I requested an update regarding somethings that appeared on my background check. I submitted the appropriate documents, and I haven't heard bac from anyone in an entire week. It really unfortunate that these companies who have a responsibility to report accurate information, don't afford the ability for actual human contact to receive full context on the information that they are providing. All of my background checks previously have only taken a few days. Meanwhile Checkr is taking multiple weeks, and is now past their 2nd estimated completion date. When I emailed them to ask about the reason Im still waiting they avoided the question and essentially copy+pasted the useless info on their website.
Very inaccurate reporting, said I had a seat belt violation in South Carolina in 2021. First time ever in South Carolina was in 2023. You people need a class action lawsuit against you for defamation of character!!!
Checker appears to be an ametuer operation. Im in the process of applying for several delivery gigs, and need to start earning asap. I have a clean background but checher has mistakenly conflated my brothers record with mine. Don't get me wrong, I UNDERSTAND how it happened, but its been holding me up for two weeks and costing me money. I'm not impressed. Furthermore, their entire automated process is desingned to make it as easy as possible for THEM. Trying to drill down to address the problem is like trying to unsubsribe from SPAM email. They make it as difficult as possible. I wont apply to companies that use chequer, and am telling my friends to follow suit. exchequer indeed

Completely incompetent company having me wait 5 months and they still say my background is pending. I have NO criminal record. I was cleared by another background company in 3 days, yet they say it's California courts holding me up. So if it's the courts then why can can another company clear me in 3 days? This company has tons of complaints and pending litigation. They need to be shut down.
recently had the worst experience of my life with this company sending the wrong background to a employer that do not belongs to me i am embarrass as well as humiliated and currently suffering a lose of income behind it
I recently had checkr ruin my chance of getting a job i really was happy about. by sending the wrong background for a guy that shares the same name is me. aim am beyond pissed off am currently waiting on a responds to straighten out 8 days later still nothing
Absolutely horrible customer service. 3 different companies submitted checks to them -2 have come back saying they can not verify my social. Not a single customer service person have been able to figure out why the check can not be completed (even though, at least one check was complete. ) let me know if you guys decide to get your sh** together, I’ll change my review!
They are the worst! No help at all so if you need help is just the guy that answer the phone and if you do not like their answer that is all. There is no one to address really important issues
