Uber does a background check with these people every year. Mine record has not changed, and yet it takes longer and longer every time to get it done. They have been using the excuse that it's a Pandemic, but my report took one week last year....FUNNY IT WAS A PANDEMIC THEN ALSO! I got a copy of a Divorce Decree from the courts, and Minute Orders quicker than they have run this Background Check, so I shout B.S. There is a such thing as being thorough, but something is not right with how they do things.
literally cannot speak to anybody or get any answers even through their messaging center. My background check has been held up for WEEKS because they spelled my name wrong and they literally do not even bother to respond to my help tickets
Absolutely awful company. Unable to reach anyone at the Help Center. My background check was "suspended" for no conceivable reason. This might cost me an apartment.
Extremely poor , even nonexistent, customer service. Both of my reports have been suspended. No help in sight. I've contacted Checkr OVER 13 times and sat on the "customer support line' for hours to no avail. The "customer support line" allows 5 options, 4 of which hang up on you after giving absolutely worthless information. The 5th option puts you on hold for a never-ending eternity, only tricking you into hoping you might be able to fix your issue. MOST UNDERWHELMING BACKGROUND CHECK SERVICE ON THE MARKET.
Awful wait time. Also, if you need to get in contact with anyone there, good luck! No phone lines are ever open and emails will not be replied to.
This company is the poorest of it's kind. I don't know how anyone can rely on a company that is all over the map about people. I have never lived in or been to San Bernardino California for example, yet they say that I have an arrest report there which is not possible. there were a couple other things from like 20 years ago that were also wrong. You can't correct anything because their customer service cannot verify the reports that they issue. Guess that's why even Chechr claims that their reports are not accurate.
Completely agree with all negative feedback I've read. If you care about running a company go anywhere else but this company. I've worked with 3 companies doing B/G checks and never seen anyone take this long.
Have been waiting for 4 months and counting for a simple background check for Lyft and Uber. This company isnt working and I would impore companies to use other avenues. This company is a joke, scam and useless!
Checkr is not the company that it's made out to be. They have been sued for illegally obtaining damaging reports with misleading information. They recently settled a 40 million dollar lawsuit in New Hampshire for providing erevalent information about employees and suggesting that these people where criminals to their employers. The company may be good at reporting damaging information but at what cost.
This company sucks takes months for results cost me a job!!!!! their lazy should be out of business
