I rented a space in Brooklyn New York for 1.5 years to store mostly expensive designer clothing. I wanted my clothes to be in a temperature controlled storage space. Recently, I removed my belongings to store at another CubeSmart location (outside of NY) and when I unpacked my clothes, the very next day, I could not believe the state in which my clothing was in!! I was horrified to learn that all of my expensive clothing that I took such good care of…my Frette linen and towels were YELLOW and not just yellow, but a deep yellow in most everything I owned. These are designer clothes and Frette linen and towels were yellow stains everywhere!! I am out almost $20,000. I am hiring Pryor... Read More
Well Self Storage Community of 3103 N Decatur Rd, Scottsdale, GA 30079. It’s official because the Owner, District Manager or Management, has refused to adequately address and put a stop to the cooking and smoking of Meth in the storage building Mold has started to set in. It’s possible it could be coming from the person with the abandoned car parked in the parking lot that someone has been living out of for the last 4-5 months, this was the time I started smelling it in the building and informed ALL of the above persons. Cubesmart taunton massachusetts location i had my quad stolen in less than a day the first day i had it there literally within hrs, I strongly believe it was the work of the facility manager and at least 1 other and Cubesmart was not cooperative with either or authorities in terms of viewing the 1 and only camera they have which watches only the main gate, i later discovered that there was a hole cut in a fence out back, and people hiding in unrented units whether these are homeless people or potential thieves im not sure, but not very secure. Bottom line is don't rent here if you have something valuable
Worst sign-up process I have ever encountered. The electronic system is flawed and reaching a store manager is next to impossible, Never encountered a business that is so ill-equipped for in-person rental agreements. After a failed attempt to sign up online (including the inability to get the deal I was promised just ten minutes before at the unit) it ook be 3 hours and 6 phone conversations and 1 final face-to-face contact to get the job done. Unit location being convenient is the only reason I didn't walk away from the process. But don't worry. After 3 hours of aggravation, they will say "Im Sorry".
I have been using CubeSmart for several years and have always been impressed with the courtesy of the employees and the cleanliness of the units.
I've rented storage units with CubeSmart Middleburgh Hts., Ohio for several years. Never had any issues. The staff is very friendly and answered any questions I had no matter how dumb I felt for asking.
A few times I forgot to lock my unit. When I got home, I received a call from the office saying the unit was not locked. Good service!!
Every new unit I ever rented was clean and secure. The prices are reasonable for the area they are in.

Smells like something died and is rotting on the floor I was assigned. They don't care to take any action. Not looking forward to having to endure the smell as we move our belongings next week. Also concerned the smell has permeated furniture and clothing items. Speaking to ou attorneys about this awful place 622 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27603. I am sure the fine print of their contract covers them for no liability,but we shall see. A warning to avoid this place if at all possible.
Do NOT rent from this organization. Their tactic is to get you into the unit, load it with all your stuff, and then within 3 months substantially raise the unit rent, usually around a 45% increase. They know most people don't want to have to move all their stuff out so they get away with it. USE ANY OTHER STORAGE FACILITY!!
Awful! They were supposed to set me up for my credit card to be billed monthly. They did not. Now I have to go through hell every month paying them by check mailing it out. They are completely incompetent. I suggest you stay away from this place. It should be automatic on your credit card. But they’re too stupid to do it. Do they really think people put things in storage for two weeks? Or are they just morons? I think they’re morons.
Excellent service from our local CubeSmart team both in terms of their attention to our needs and in terms of communicating, use of the space and costs involved. The unit itself at 81 Cove Street in New Bedford MA is clean and provides carts for moving personal property. However, it did experience flooding, due to a defective roof, which it appears has not yet been fully replaced. That aside, when our unit experienced some minor water damage, the staff quickly alerted us and CubeSmart was prepared to address any damages via the insurance policy they required us to purchase.
