I would rate them a zero star if that were an option. I've been with Sunrun since 2014. I was told during the initial process that Sunrun would monitor my system. In 7 years, that has happened one time. I'm always the one seeing alarm codes on my inverter box and I'm the one contacting Sunrun to report the problem. Apparently, there was a manufacturer recall on my panels and I've been without solar since May 25, 2021. It's summertime here in the high desert and we've had back-to-back excessive heat warnings for weeks now with temps hitting consecutive triple digits. Vivint (Sunrun) is a horrible company to work with. On April 13 2021 I was promised a credit would be applied to my account. I was told it would take a week before it would show up on my account. More than a month has passed and credit has not been applied. I spent another hour on phone with their customer service and still no solution. Vivint (Sunrun) customer service sucks. Long wait time on phone. No solution to problem I started working a YEAR ago. If you're looking for solar look elsewhere. From the start Sunrun was a great company, everyone that we talked to was nice and informative, but when I asked specifically about getting battery storage for my house, they basically said "oh it is in the works, and by the time your panels are running we will have it." I have had my panels for 2 years and still get told that Sunrun is working on the link between the panels and the battery. All I have read is that only existing customers are able to get a wall battery. Had I asked more questions I would have went with another company. Sunrun will not get a kind word from me when people ask where I got my solar panels. I feel lied to. Brian Mcglasson

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME WITH SUNRUN, IN 2016 A SALES MAN CAME TO MY HOUSE MAKE ME BELIEVED EDISON WAS HELPING SENOR, SIX MONTHS LATER WITHOUT SEND ME A BILL OR A AGREEMENT THEY PUT A LIEN OR A UCC- 1 FIXTURE FILE IN MY TITLE. I JUST FOUND OUT LAST WEEK. PLEASE CAN PEOPLE WITH PROBLEMS WITH SUNRUN CONTACT ME AND GIVE IDEA HOW CAN I CLEAN MY TITLE. IT IS A LOT MORE THAN THIS.

I wouldn’t have given any stars at all. Worst Company with the Worst Service and the most disrespectful company ever. It has been 6 months contacting for a part to be replaced and it never happened. Worst Ever Customer Service!

SUNRUN SOLAR PANELS is the most disrespectful, distrustful, unprofessional, and sneaky business I have ever dealt with. They are unethical schemers. On December 2018 I got the panels install at my house, on April 2019 I got so many pigeons that it was raining poop on my back yard. The kids were getting sick, even the dog got sick. I called SUNRUN to see what could be done they said the have an independent contractor that do the fencing around the panels. I called them to have an estimate they said that they could past by the house and then email me and estimate but that never happened. I called a couple more times LVM nobody got back to me. The salesman was not truthful. Customer Service is not good. We are told a different story every time we call Problems do not get resolved or sent higher up to address someone that is capable of solving them. Service is slow.

Sunrun intentionally locked me into a 20 year lease agreement for a discontinued solar system that is too small to make a significant impact on my power bill. They said they would offset my bill by 97% and in my first year I saved a total of $86.00. Since the lease price goes up every year, I stand to save even less this year. $86.00 is nowhere near 97% of my bill and by their own "savings analysis" they underestimated the system by 114%. Sunrun forged my signature and initials on their "agreement" and said that the system is performing better than expected. Don't do business with Sunrun. The installation was lengthy and was done wrong, the power company had to come THREE times until the gave us the permit. Sunrun owes me $500 for fees I had to pay an electrician for their mistakes, it has been months and they have not reimbursed me. They are arrogant company with ZERO consideration. Monthly payment by credit card is assessed $7.50 penalty. You can either send a check by US post (Who does that anymore) and not get penalized OR you can do an automatic bank draft.
