We signed a contract with the Brea, CA Pella Corporation on 2/25/22 for French doors. Over five months later (and beyond our contract time of 4-5 months, after numerous delays and cancellations on their end) on 8/4/22 they tried to deliver damaged and bowed doors that were not installable. We immediately emailed Adam Ring the “Customer Service” manager to cancel because we did not trust their product due to obvious lack of quality control. Adam Ring refused to cancel our contract and is now trying to send us to collections for a product that was not only in unworkable condition but one we sent back. We have reached out to numerous individuals at this company but they refuse to help us even... Read More

Do NOT use this company. Shockingly horrible. They ordered the wrong sliding doors for us and refused to admit it even with all our evidence. We lost all the money and had to reorder sliding doors/pay again b/c the openings were made for those specific doors. Hated giving them more money. They were delivered and they'd sent the wrong screens, so now we waited for those to arrive. Seriously was two years from beginning to end and so much stress and wasted money.

Within 4 months of purchasing a pella sliding patio door parts fell off and dirt accumulated in the track inside the house. Pella sent a technician out in about 2 1/2 months, fixed the door but dirt still comes in the house. The next technician said that it is just a low quality product. A $800 low quality product. A pella company representative said the same thing. If you buy a door around or above the $2000 price range then you should not have that problem. Pellas lifetime warranty doesn’t exist if you purchase it through Lowes. And if it’s past 90 days then Lowes says that it is up to pella. Past 118 days and a credit card company won’t do anything. I would not put a pella product on a... Read More

Don't buy Pella windows. We spent $30,000 to replace most of the windows in our house. Half of the windows were improperly installed causing leaks that were slowly causing damage we were unaware of until finally a driving rain from the east caused thousands of dollars to damage to our ceilings and walls. Pella was notified of this in October but didn't sent a so-called tech until the end of January. He came with snow on our roof. Didn't do anything, charged us $150 for nothing and we set up another appointment for a month later. When the repairmen came they took the outside coverings off the two leaking and told us the windows weren't flashed or caulked in. Seven windows improperly... Read More

We will not buy Pella again. We loved the doors we had installed a few years ago, but this time we were very disappointed in Pella. We learned that they do not make their doors any more and the craftmanship shows. It took almost 1 full year (-2 weeks) before we got our door installed. This is because of the poor quality door they first sent to us and the lack of communication. After 24 emails/calls and one year later we did finally get a decent door installed, but we are done with Pella.

NEVER BUY PELLA WINDOWS!!! One of the screens on a Pella Window on my house disappeared, probably blown off in a wind storm. Pella made me jump through ridiculous hoops to try and buy a replacement screen. Ending with quoting me a price for a SCREEN that was more than I paid for the window!!! Ridiculous! If it were an Anderson window it would be about $40 for a new screen.

I purchased several thousand dollars worth of Pella windows and doors between 2017 and 2018. I used a certified installer from their website who I had to later terminate. Pella was extremely unhelpful in finding my another installer. Once I did find an installer, they were not helpful when asked to help us resolve issues with small parts that were missing, or a motorized window that was not working. I am/was willing to pay for parts but no one would even help me or call me back. I was very disappointed and would never recommend Pella. Worst customer service. They do not care about their customers.

I have owned Pella windows in two different homes, over 40 years, and I have enough experience with them to tell you don’t buy them. The air gap leaks after a period of time, and don’t even Think about life time guarantee, it doesn’t exist with pella. They are not worth the price and they will end up causing you grief and the service sucks.

Pella windows are Kmart windows. The absolute worst windows on the market today. They only have a 2 year warranty and will eventually rot closed from the inside out. You will not be able to tell in most cases until you try to open the window. If you buy windows from Pella you need to also buy a whole lot of silicone for all the water leaks you are going to get and a sledge hammer for each room. Because if their is a fire you are not going to be able to get out your house. The glass on windows now a days is like automobile front wind shield glass they are not easy to break. All of my windows on my house rotted shut and I am not the only one. That is why they were sued but failed to contact... Read More

Very happy with the product but installation has been a nightmare! I spent $12,000 on Pella because of the name. The product looks great and works great but that is where the party ends. We were told that it would be 60-90 days before the install, but it was 6 months. We did the financing so we could pay them off in a year and not have to pay the interest so, they received their money upfront, and we will probably pay them off before the job is complete. They have failed final inspection 3 times and still counting. Although I am very happy with the product, I would NEVER recommend Pella to a friend. The customer service has also been below expectations. If I were to do it all over again, I... Read More
