I'm with Jetty for my renter's insurance. Even renewed for a second year as had no issues other than not being able to change things on the website myself, but the one time I needed to make a cell phone claim (which I paid extra for), I realized that I had made a mistake trusting them. The claim number on the website is a third party, which does not have any information or work for Jetty. The customer service number just says everything must be done by the website and hangs up. It's took 2 weeks since I filed a claim to eventually receive any communication; I've followed up by email (since that's the only option) and still nothing. I then received a confirmation they had the claim,... Read More
You get what you pay for. It’s cheap but they have numerous technical issues. Their website is not very functional most of the time. It’s a pain to deal with, but it’s cheap.
If you can afford it, go elsewhere.
Thus far I am not having. Good experience with Jetty and my adjuster. In which I decided to discuss with the Insurance Commissioners office to file a complaint, against some of their practices and the adjuster on my claim
Jetty insurance stole my money and I could not resolve the issue through them. I bought their rental insurance for a year. I moved out from the place last year. I gave them a call that I am moving out. Apparently they did not apply that and even have a record of that!!! They charged me for a whole year while I was not renting in that property. I just noticed that when they tried to charge me again this year. I did not give them any authority to charge my credit card and I did not even signed for auto charge. They are making money out of customers like me who do not check their credit cards regularly.
This company is horrible. avoid it.
The above rating does not do this company justice, they just collect the money, when it come to pay up, it's been a disaster. I had my house broken in and lost some electronics. The adjuster company gave me a quote that I said was fine, but was not entirely happy, for which they "said" they sent me a check which I never received. When I checked back with them they said they will consider it lost and reissue a new check for which I have to give them a notarized form with my social security number and mail it back to them. I asked them for a tracking number and they said they did not have one. Mailing a thousand dollar check without a tracking number? I raised the concerns with the... Read More
This insurance is horrible! They do not represent their product. They do not even manage the claims. They collect money, that is all they do. They use Garret Basset claims to manage the claims and Garrett Bassett uses Frontier to manage the field adjusters. They use Home Link to manage the relocation of temporary housing. I had a terrible experience with them and a claim. They did not even have a field adjuster to my unit until nearly 15 days after a flood. I was lied to that the field adjuster called me 3x and left a voicemail! No way! They just decided to stop covering additional living expenses and were given ample, ample discovery that stated that they were premature in doing so. Do... Read More
