TrustedPals is a relative newcomer to the pet insurance industry but the range of coverage they offer is on par with what's offered by many well-established insurers. They have one standard plan that covers the same illnesses, injuries and services, with the option of adding wellness coverage. Customers customize their plans by electing coverage limits, co-pays and deductibles. Some pet lovers may find choosing a plan based on price rather than coverage features simple and appealing.

Overall, the TrustedPals website is a little vague on covered services. A phone call to the company's customer service department cleared things up. But since knowing exactly what's covered is a key factor in choosing a pet insurance plan, TrustedPals has room for improvement when it comes to providing coverage details.

TrustedPals' basic plans cover veterinary and specialist visits, surgeries, hospitalization, prescription medicines, and any training or therapy prescribed by your vet. Alternative and holistic treatment by a licensed vet are also covered.

Under TrustedPal's TrustedSpotter benefit, all pets are issued a unique ID collar tag to help under the unfortunate event a furry friend gets lost. The tag directs the person who finds a TrustedPals-insured pet to visit the company's TrustedSpotter page online, enter their contact information, and TrustedPals will help reunite the pet and pet owner.

So far so good, 👍 Took my Gabby to the vet for prevention care, vaccinations, labs, heartworm/flea/ tick prevention . I filled claim and was reburst all the money that was owed to me and was deposited in my bank account in 2 weeks.

TrustedPals has been excellent so far! Nearly immediately after getting my rescue dog, she came down with HGE, which required an overnight emergency hospital stay. I would have had to pay nearly $2k out of pocket if I hadn't had pet insurance. The claim process was incredibly smooth, and I love that they cover vaccinations and other care as well! Such a good deal for my peace of mind, and given the aforementioned emergency, TrustedPals has already paid for itself for over 3 years.

So far, I can’t say enough about the ease of enrollment (and love the fact that they act like they are talking to my dog!), the considerable value and selection of of the policies is extensive. We previously had pet insurance through another Insurance company and cancelled due to the extremely high premiums and poor customer service (think high cost and a fight to get anything covered). TrustedPals premiums are much lower and the policies cover much more - we even signed up for the Wellness plan. Our dog is turning 4 and we hope to have a long relationship with TrustedPals. Keep up the good work.

So far so good. I've been a policy holder for a few weeks. I have submitted a few claims and the process is fairly easy. The customer service department is helpful via phone and email.

I had been putting off getting pet insurance because I thought it was very complicated. Once I came across Trusted Pals, I let out a sigh of relief! The coverages were explained in an easy manner. I absolutely love their wellness plan coverage as well! Great coverage for a great price. Submitting claims is really easy, they are quick and refund you quickly as well. I’m a very happy customer!

Not very good communication. Last two calims still haven't processed yet after 20 days.. Website has links that don't go anywere. hard to locate any past documents /submitted claims.

I retired as a Legal Assistant so o am used to doing a lot of research. I wanted to get the best insurance for my pet that I could afford. I checked out over 30 companies, but only Trusted Pals offered me not only various levels pf coverage but various levels of copays AND they pay for things that most companies dont begin to cover like dental cleanings, Dr. prescribed supplements, nail trimming, routine vaccines, etc Most of these are covered by adding their wellness coverage, but it is very reasonable.
