Presto-X took over the pest control company that I had a contract with since 2005. I found out I had termites activity on April 04, 2022. I immediately notified the company with the 1-800 but their call system is the worst I've ever dealt with. I talked with four different representatives before I could schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I found out the tech that was scheduled to come to my house was actually on vacation. Go figure! After making several calls to the 1-800 number, I received a call from the operation manager. He dispatch one of the techs to my home. They don't pay their bills. They have agents out in the field with break downs. The agent "charges" the ticket because they are on the road, and the company never honors their obligation.

This company used to be Anderson Pest Control. That was the best service I have ever had for over 15 years. Anderson would caulk around outside areas to prevent pest entry and clean out spider webs. Now Presto-X owns them and they are the worst service over the past several years and just keep getting worse. They don't show up for appointments which has been happening more often these days. You can't get a hold of them to book an appointment when extra service is needed. I will now be doing my business elsewhere who will at least show up!

Presto-X was not doing a good job at the properties we manage. We found bait stations full of leaves, persistent pest issues were not being addressed despite several calls to same locations. We began cancelling their services & realized they have a serious customer service/billing issue. We processed cancellations in writing, we received written confirmation of these cancellations. Despite this, Presto-X continued "performing services" at these locations & billing us. We found 2 bills that should not have been paid, requested refunds, have not heard back. I cancelled my account last month because of failure to show up, and then show up at scheduled time. I’m still being charged and dealing with Mitchell has been Incredibly difficult. He has contradicted himself multiple times via email. Unless you want to continue to be charged after cancellation, do not use!!

Well thank God we did not have to pay any money.The man was just so much in a rush to get us to sign the contract -( said we an cancel anytime ) well after he left we began reading it very closely and man amn some companies try to rip people off big time ......... After looking and speaking to people about the clauses in this contract it was crazy. All the problems we having with flying insects in ou home that we can barely see with our eyes but they bite and sting you .......... all this on a small clause do not sign anything until you read it well . Beware of where you send your payment to this company. I faithfully sent in my monthly payment but sent to the local office. Come to find out the local office is a PO Box. The supervisor from Des Moines picks up the mail from this PO Box. Thus my payments never got recorded. Where they went is beyond me. Now I am being billed for services I already paid for. I sent my payments thru the bank and do not have copies of these checks so I am just out the money they say I owe. There is a Valerie Cole I have talked with but that was a waste of time. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Presto X did a heat treatment to my home a couple of months ago for a bed bug problem. I was told it was more effective than the chemicals used, so went for this expensive treatment. (It did not work and they had to return to use a silicone treatment). Problem is, it completely melted my carpet where the heat hoses were, and the carpet will have to be replaced. Their insurance company will only cover a small percentage of replacement cost (depreciation they say). Now I'll have to come up with another $2K to replace my carpet! It was in beautiful condition before they came. This is not right for a company to have one's carpet destroyed, then be told I'll have to cover it!!!

Presto-X took over a local pest control company we used for years. Since Presto-X took over, we experienced multiple problems. First, it was extremely difficult to schedule our local service. Second, we received multiple invoice statements reporting we had not paid for services when we had paid for the services. We supplied the requested information to demonstrate we paid for our services. Still, Presto-X continued to report we had not paid our bills.
