WebWatcher is an excellent parental monitoring app, allowing parents to monitor a device discretely from a secure online account. It is compatible with all 5 key operating systems (Android, iOS, PC, Mac & Chromebook). WebWatcher's stand-out feature is its Alert Log tool. This feature scans all recorded data and uses proprietary filters to identify and highlight items deemed to be risky behavior. Parents receive real-time alerts of all identified risky behavior, which means they can focus their attention on only important items. All recorded data is available for review at any time, but it is up to the parent to decide how much they want to see. The company also offers 24/7 customer service via phone, e-mail and live chat, to ensure the best experience for their customers.

WebWatcher product does not work on Mac, at least that was the painful experience for me. I didn't work out of the gate, started working only for 2 days after the technician installed/configured something remote connected to my Mac, then it stopped working again. The technician was patient, but couldn't resolve the problem after hours and hours of remotely connecting to my mac and installed a bunch of stuff. At some point it felt really scary because I had to repeatedly type the admin password to allow things to be installed/changed. The company itself and how they are treating unsuccessful installation are a total scam, I have never seen such a terrible business practice. I would not... Read More

We purchased this software to monitor our daughter’s phone activity while she was going through a rough time in her life and we were concerned with her behavior. We were particularly interested in monitoring her text messages and KIK messages, both what she was sending and receiving. We were told at purchase that the software would only monitor incoming KIK messages, but that it would show both incoming and outbound text messages. After installing the software on the phone we discovered that it was only logging inbound text messages and only the first 43 characters of inbound KIK messages.
