To be clear, Trinity is a moving broker, which means they typically broker their moves rather than providing physical moving services themselves. When brokering, they only act as the middleman between the company and the consumer. This means any details Trinity provides as to pricing and timing should be confirmed by the actual company that will be performing the service prior to moving day. Special attention should be paid to the way the moving company calculates the cost—some companies use weight while others go by cubic feet, which would require customers to measure every item to receive a more accurate quote.

I made a mistake of hiring these people. [The employee] either can't do his job or is really bad at it. They talk to you very sweetly before you pay the initial deposit. I was cheated at every step of the moving process. Pick up was late, delivery was late, I was overcharged when movers came to my house and several of the items were not delivered. One of the movers was openly making fraud deals with me. He said he won't list some of the items to be moved and in exchange wanted higher tips. And at the end of the day didn't deliver many of the items and was rude when I enquired about my missing items. Any other company is better than this company.

This high rating for Trinity is fake. They are awful!! They subcontract out the move to fly by night moving companies but never tell you they are going to. (If you ever see the name Household Haulers, run the other way!!!) They low ball the estimate for your amount of posessions so the cost sounds pretty reasonable. But then the sub contractor holds you ransom for more money...a LOT more money. And the 3-5 day delivery time---that would have been nice. Try 28 days. And when the subcontractor who is screwing you over doesn't care about taking so long to get your stuff moved, all the nice sales people at Trinity have crawled under a rock. They won't respond to calls, texts, or... Read More

In the beginning everything went well, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. It is a DISASTER. First the sales rep named James gave us a quote of $1700 to move some boxes and paintings to Baltimore. until then everything was ok. now as of today , things are in a storage in Baltimore and the only way we can receive them is paying $700 or more for their mistake in delivering before the time that was suggested. And surely they are not recognizing any amount of money even though they do recognize it was there mistake.

They quoted me a "minimum move" which included a short list of items (one dresser, one tv) and up to 62 medium boxes for a cross country move from Atlanta to Los Angeles. I moved a total of 36 items - most of them small and medium boxes, a large tv (boxed). Upon pickup (AFTER they have loaded my things on their truck), they increased my price by 33% for "space" which was never properly measured or proven (and largely dependent on how well they are able to pack things tightly). My belongings fell well below what was included in the quote. (All of my stuff fit on ONE elevator ride!) Additionally I had made arrangements in advance to use a credit card on pick up, and they demanded... Read More

DO NOT USE TRINITY RELOCATION, EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE!! First, the salesmen lie. They specifically told me they were a carrier and not to use another company because it was a broker, the truth is that THEY OWN ONLY ONE TRUCK. It is purposeful, so that they can say they are a carrier when they are really a broker and will completely wash their hands of all of the delays and damages done to your property. Not only do they lie, but when things go wrong, they will absolutely not take responsibility to compensate you. I had the worst moving experience of my life using the carrier they hired, PATRIOT RELOCATION, and am out thousands of dollars in damages and lost property!! They arrived... Read More

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! As far as I could tell they just took my money, I still had to shell out another $2000 to the moving company because this company "miscalculated" my furniture. First I was told that they would honor any bid I had, but in the end they just kept raising their price until their final price was over $2000 over the bid I had received from a moving company. Then by the time this all happened you've passed their deadline to receive your money back. Nicely set up trap! Worst Experience I've ever had in a move and I spent 22 years moving in the Air Force.

HORRIBLE experience with Trinity. Quote was $3150, actually move cost $5557 with movers telling me that Trinity quotes low, collects their commission and then most people are stuck because they are in stressful, pressing, vulnerable positions so are forced to pay more without the ability to go out to bid again. Movers, I &A were awful, putting my mother, who is 87 and in a wheel chair in a VERY dangerous situation but leaving her in her bedroom overnight with no ability for her to get to the kitchen or any exits. She is diabetic so eating in the morning is VERY important. One problem after another. Will never use a broker again.

THIS IS WHAT I'M POSTING ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE AVAILABLE - JOB #B5048535 I was lied to from the very beginning on several issues but the 2 biggest being: 1 - "It's a pay by weight - we estimate high based on DOT standards but we will weigh the truck and you won't owe as much if anything at all at delivery" - I was told this more than once by 2 different people but this is absolutely NOT true!!! I took off several LARGE items (front load washer/dryer with pedastals; dining room table with 2 captains chairs and 6 regular chairs; a queen mattress and box springs plus a lot of little items like vacuums, brooms, fans) and added on 16 totes and it RAISED my price by $2300- again he said... I want to share my most horrible moving experience with Trinity and the fact they do business with Unique Van Lines (Unique is rated D- on BBB). Jeff from Trinity sales mentioned to my husband multiple times throughout the process that Trinity stays away from brokers only to find out later that Trinity acted as a broker in our case. They also jumped the price up significantly during QA check when we added 10 boxes and few pantry items as they knew that canceling the job would make us lose our deposit. TRG gave out our job to a failed carrier “Unique Van Lines”. After approximately 2.5 months of delays, excuses, lies, regular follow up calls, we finally received our stuff this week to find... It is very unfortunate that I’m writing this review. Initially I was very impressed by how professional the phone representative presented himself. Come to find out that was all part of the plan. I will never use Trinity Relocation Group LLC. They hugely underestimated when they said they would over estimate to be on the "safe side." They changed a binding fee without telling me that I even had one and what it was. They initially said that they were not a broker when in fact they are. The initial representative was nice enough to warn me about brokers and not to choose one. He even sent me information about brokers and what to look out for. I was supposed to have a 10% discount for being... Read More
