Buyer Beware is right! Please please please take it from us who used this company to move from MA to NC. Please either video or take pictures of everything and I mean everything that you plan on taking with you. Please please please also take out the insurance. Me who was totally against taking out insurance my husband absolutely insisted to take it! GLAD WE DID!!! We have so much missing, as an entire crate. A crate is about 10-12 feet tall and about 5-6 feet wide. MISSING/GONE!!! "Our computer system says you have it all!" Really? If it's not marked properly of course it's coming up that we have it all! We all know computer systems fail. We settled on 'some' missing items with a CSR... Read More

Buyer Beware! You will be sorry if you use this moving company. Their employees will damage every one your personal belongs that they move. Some things they damaged of my furniture, a dining room table was badly scratched, two expensive bar stools, my bedroom bed was damaged and broken. my office desk was badly scratched. When you call them to tell them about it they will refuse to pay to fix or replace them. When their employee comes to your home to quote you for the move he will lie about the company and the date when your furniture arrives. You also will have to put up with their very rude employees that move your furniture.

Its a Fraud. everything is arrange for you to pay extra and you need to sign a paper with no information that you receive exactly what they said, but you cant check all the boxes before signing. We lost 3 original paintings and they said we needed to sign because the paintings were there in a box somewhere, but when we opened all the boxes NO PAINTINGS, then they said, ok we forgot the paintings in a warehouse,. and this is just an excemple. Please DONT GO WITH THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD.

Atlas Van Lines, and Jason Turner, fro the Central Coast area of CA, will lie and quote anything to get your business. DO NOT buy the extra insurance, as they say "Get AAA and your goods are automatically covered for 100% value" It is a lie. They damaged a lot of things, sent an inspector over and he agreed, then they low ball you and you don't even get back what you paid in insurance. They under estimated the amount of stuff we had and had to come back a few days later, that delayed us at our destination, The literally flipped a 3D printer upside down that had tip and tell plates on it and clear marking of THIS SIDE UP and refused to pay for it because they said that the T&T we... MOVE FROM NJ TO VA: DISASTER! This review is to save anyone who wants to avoid having their personal property and old and new home damaged and or destroyed by this unprofessional company that claims to be professional movers. 1. THE COST: Their price is on par with moving companies that actually move you themselves. Atlas Van Lines outsourced the move to a local company in NJ called Santiego Worldwide Inc. Moving & Storage, which turned out to be a bunch of local hires that ripped my couch, left scuffs on the walls and ceilings, and left me feeling nervous the entire time. 2. THE MOVE: Where to begin...the staff at Santiego Worldwide Inc. Moving & Storage, changed my delivery... Read More

I hired Atlas to move me and they started by moving my belongings onto the sidewalk and boulevard, then they told me I had more than the estimate, which I didn't, and held my move hostage until I paid them an extra $750. They wanted me to pay $1500 but I really protested that and then my realtor showed up. They broke items, stole items, charged me to box my mattress and didn't do it. I tried for the 9 month time period to file a claim and got not response despite sending 4 packages with photos, etc to Atlas and one to the Atlas agent. I also left 2 voicemails on the claim line asking for somebody to call and no response. I am a disabled senior and they cost me $2600 in overcharges,... Read More
