Here is why: They are crooked and a very good scam team, yes team. The sale agents, the QA staff, clerks, moving company and the management team all in it to scam you for as much money as possible. Believe me, they are very good at it too. It starts with the polite sale represent (Salvatore) to befriend you into trusting him to obtain your business by promising many things he can't deliver or have any control over. DO NOT USE. Scammers and crooks. Any positive reviews are scams. Check out their better business bureau rating. Here are the facts:
1. Your price will double 2 days before the pickup. (Bait and switch)
2. If you want it within the 2-3 days you asked for delivery they will add $1K (no disclosure at sale.) Without paying this, expect items to arrive 3-4 weeks later.
3. Your items get moved on/off trucks-warehouse multiple times. Boxes THROWN on the truck in a pile. Zero professional movers involved.
4. Items will be damaged and totally LOST.
5. You won't be compensated. Your credit company can't help.
6. The people who sell you the contract will vanish; the service reps will blame you...Read More

Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews! My experience with America First Moving was a nightmare. They overcharged me by hundreds of dollars, damaged several of my belongings, and were incredibly unprofessional. I've seen numerous complaints online echoing my experience. Do your research and choose a more reputable company
This company is very misleading in its process. My original quote was 3K. By the time my items were packed on the truck my cost was 8K
3/4 of the way through the packing process I was told they could not get the remainder of the items on the truck. Miraculously $1K later everything fit.
There were 3 different entities handling the process. When I contacted the original individual to discuss the quote, once he heard who I was, without warning he put the phone on hold and transferred the call.
My pick up and delivery dates were not met after being changed by the company, costing me money on a pre scheduled event.

Words cannot describe how shady they are. Don’t sign anything they send you! Hang up immediately because if there’s an issue it will not get resolved and you’ll be screwed.
I want to share the experience my family and I had with American 1st Moving. Their service was outstanding, handling our large and heavy furniture without a hitch. Everything went smoothly, and nothing got damaged. Fast and reliable service—100% recommended!

American 1st Moving gave me top-notch service. They were super responsible and worked hard the whole time. I was impressed with their new trucks and equipment. Their insurance policy is great too. Since I'm always busy with work, I loved that they handled all the packing and wrapping for me. They contacted me the day after pickup to sort out the final details and showed up right on time. No issues at all. I really appreciate their service.
