Stay away from this company. The moving experience with 24/7 Logistics started out ok but ended up being a nightmare. We had an out of state move from a house to a 2 bedroom apartment. We asked upfront if the move would be subcontracted, and were told it would not, however that's exactly what happened. The load up was fine- 3 men working efficiently. The delivery was unimaginable. Only the driver was there to unload. No additional help, and we had some very large and heavy furniture. The driver said no one else would be available to help. This company lies. When they first contacted me they showed me the DOT reports. They told me the company that contacted earlier was a broker but they are not. They said they had their own drivers and fleet. They convinced me to cancel with the previous company which ended up me losing over 1500 dollars, that company only gave you 72 hours to cancel. So the agent went over my list of belongings and quoted me about 7000 dollars after the senior discount. So I gave them a deposit of 1580. A week before I was to move another agent called for a virtual walk-through. He quoted me a new number which was over 2000 dollars more. Many damaged belongings, too much to write. Not full service as they claim to be. Sub out the labor and logistics, Will charge you more at time of pickup. Fact. I encourage you to read their reviews, and also check out their BBB reviews.
Do not use this company!!! They are thieves and will take you and your property hostage. They charged us $14,000 to move from California to Arizona, when we were initially quoted $6,000. They broke our large screen TV along with many other things and stole a few items as well. They we're drinking while they were working too cause we found alcoholic beverage containers in the trash can. They will overcharge you and say you underestimated the move even when you went over everything with the bologna customer service rep. If at all possible avoid using this company. Terrible service no one ever calls you back. Was quoted .$6800 to move my furniture ended up paying close to 14000.. And they want all final payments made in cash. They have damage close to $5500 Of my furniture. Have been trying for several months To make a freight claim. And they have never sent me the information. They use nothing but subcontractors to conduct all their businesses..
WORST MOVERS EVER - DO NOT USE - Almost all of our furniture was damaged by 24/7 - Literally almost every piece. No response after 1 month of trying to contact 24/7 including formal complaint thru BBB also without response.
I was also told that this company does not use brokers to move the items. Based on my interaction with the movers that came to my house (and left packaging shrapnel everywhere, btw), and how even they couldn't get in contact with the main office, that seems like lie. It has been two weeks since the movers picked up my things from California. Guess where my stuff is currently? CALIFORNIA. It hasn't even made it onto a delivery truck.
This is an astoundingly horrible company! Quite willing to tell us whatever we needed to hear - until they got our deposit - then created a move for us that was a total nightmare.
Warning! Do not use these people. They have only been in business a year, and destroyed most of my things and lost EIGHT items. I have moved five times, and of course there are always little problems, but this company is by far the worst I have had. They left my stuff in a warehouse, where it was left in water and damaged, or perhaps it was soaked when they off loaded a move that took priority. All my electronics are ruined, hundreds of dollars in books, furniture has water damange.. my 4000 dollar tempurpedic mattress has mold damage. It was bad from the start, they showed up two days late, and did not have enough protective blankets for my furniture because a previous move took priority... Read More
I've moved 5 times prior to this move from California to Virginia. Of all the moving companies, this was the worst by far. Not only can I not recommend their services, I will never use them again. They are focused on making profits at the expense of the customer.
