I guess the 1 star is for them remembering my name. I don't have much to say because I can't sit here trying to write volumes for such serious damage that was done.
This was possibly the worst moving experience ever imaginable - they “lost” a lot of my big ticket items and broke a few very pricey pieces. They were late and unresponsive and very rude. Please do not use ever.
We recently relocated from California to North Carolina. After getting several quotes, we decided to go w/ 24/7 logistics. The estimate process was not very good. The truck they sent to pick up our stuff was not big enough. The guys who loaded our things seemed to be very professional. However, on the back end, it was a disaster. The guy who showed up at my door to deliver seemed surprised when I told him there was a 7.5 foot grand piano that required 3 people to load (there were only 2 of them). They literally hired two people off the street, one was intoxicated. I called & told the lady there was a drunk man unloading my furniture. NOTHING was done. They were fine with a drunk person... LOTS of damage! What wasn't not delivered (tools, linens, etc) was either broken (mirrors they packed), scratched (all of our furniture) or damaged (busted a king size bed headboard that ended up in the dumpster). L A Z Y delivery guys. Scratched hard wood floors. Told to get a marker and it will be like new. Elizabeth is the worst customer service person we have ever encountered in our entire life (and we're old folks). Power washer mysterically reappeared after suggesting sticky fingers, obviously was wrongly used/abused, and then didn't work. Guys Good on the front end (although they started loading at 1130 pm), but, bottom line, LOTS of LOSS! Loaded into 1 truck, paid for committed... Read More
BEWARE of this company!!!!! Keep a careful count of your boxes as you pack, as they go on the truck and as they come off. It you don't count at every step, boxes will NOT be there!! They keep very shady records and they will NOT pay for missing items!!!!!!!!!!Hire a reputable mover and pay their fee. You will have a better chance of getting all of your items. They will NOT PAY for missing items. I lost over $1,000 in goods and they have refused to pay a penny!!! STAY AWAY!!!
The company lost several 1000 dollars worth of our items and memories. They picked up our 4 bedroom house in NY. When our closing date was moved, they said they would store our things free. After just a few days we closed and asked for our things. They said we had to wait until their schedule ( and another family was ready). A few days later they moved our things to South Carolina. Our belongings were packed in a truck with another family! They unloaded the truck so fast it filled a two car garage and they left. Not sure where to start with this miserable experience. Started off with scheduling to be at our house at 9 AM. They called and said they were running a little bit late. They showed up at 6 PM with two people to start packing a 5500 square ft house with a 4500 square foot basement. They packed until 10 PM when we said we need to get ready to wind down for the night. They requested starting at 5 AM because they were behind, we said okay and met them at 5 AM. Two guys once again (one left for 3 hours to get more packing supplies adding an additional $1,200 in cost to move) and we left the house at 10 PM. Day 3 we started at 7 AM and finished at 10 PM. If I was able to give it a zero I would. I moved from PA to Florida. At first the crew that picked up my property were great. They packed and wrapped everything up nicely. When I arrived in Florida I called and within 2ndays they delivered. Sounds g old so far right? Well it get really bad. At first when they delivered my property there was only 2 guys and they were really lazy. They took breaks after every item they brung in, not that big of a deal to me. I'm writing this review almost 6 months after my move as I wanted to give the company a fair chance and directly address my concerns with them but they never acted through on their promises. The entire process was a disappointment and I would like to spare someone else the grief. Items reached us MUCH later than we expected per conversations when finalizing a contract. Please pay attention to your exact contact despite what sales will attempt to tell you. We opted to have the movers pack for us thinking items would be secured but aside from our boxes all items arrived damaged to the point they had to be trashed.
