With its wireless connection, the company's compact on-the-go model is recommended for seniors who frequently venture away from home. But all three models are portable and can be relocated as needed, so long as the appropriate landline or cellular phone connection is available..

The Medical Alert Plus system adds optional fall detection* and home temperature monitoring and can be used either with a landline or mobile phone. The compact On-the-Go system is strictly for wireless use and provides customers with the flexibility to travel wherever they wish and still maintain contact and protection through ADT's monitoring services.

Premium Protection plan includes unlimited replacement batteries, and repair or replacement for Medical Alert System devices that may be necessary as a result of ordinary wear and tear, manufacturing defects, or power surges at no additional charge. Replacements or repairs made necessary by accidental drops or spills, or by damage due to dust, heat, and humidity, are limited to one (1) base unit and two (2) accessories per calendar year at the discounted rate of $75 per base unit and $15 per accessory.
