There are three main coverage plans available through Elite Home Warranty. They are:

- Elite Appliances: Takes care of eight important appliances in your home including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges/stoves/cooktops, dishwashers, built-in microwaves, ceiling fans, and garbage disposals.
- Elite Systems: Covers important systems that run your home, including air conditioning, heating, electrical, and plumbing, as well as plumbing stoppages, water heaters, and garage door openers.
- Elite Complete: A combination of both of the previously mentioned plans, combining the most important appliances and systems in your household. Due to its extensive coverage, the Elite Complete is the most expensive plan offered.

Aside from these three coverage plans, Elite offers a fully customizable plan where the customer decides the appliances, systems, and items they wish to protect. This type of plan allows the customer the flexibility choose what they want to include.

Elite also provides extensive add-on coverage options that can be included in any of the plans for an additional fee. These include exterior items and systems such as pool and spa equipment, water and sewer lines, generators, lawn sprinkler systems, and a limited roof leak repair. Optional items such as central vacuums, wine coolers, water filtration systems, water softeners, stand-alone freezers, ice makers, and premium appliances can also be included. Add-ons also exist for pumps and plumbing components such as well pumps, septic systems, sump pumps, ejector pumps, grinder pumps, and plumbing fixtures. Additionally, customers can add a guest house as part of their plan.

Although Elite offers unlimited claims, there are caps to coverage. Caps on items will depend on the appliance or system being serviced and what the contract stipulates. The aggregated cap on all covered items on a policy is $16,000 for each 12 month period. However, policyholders can always increase their item or aggregate caps by purchasing additional coverage.

Policy agreements are contract free and have no cancellation fees. Elite also offers a 30-day free trial and a 90-day parts and labor guarantee for all repairs.

Elite Home Warranty plans have term agreements of 12 months. Although pricing could vary by location, Elite's most basic plan starts at $44.99 per month. The Elite Appliances plan starts at $49.99 per month, while the Elite Complete plan starts at $59.99.

Although Elite’s service agreements are not automatically renewed each year it does notify the customer 30 days before expiration so that the service can be continued uninterrupted for another year.

Customers can request a free quote online by providing their name, phone number, email, and home address. An Elite Home Warranty sales specialist will contact them to go over the warranty plans and offer the pricing details. The specialist will also go over the items and appliances that are not covered by the warranty.

As with most home warranty companies, Elite has a 30-day waiting period before coverage kicks in. However, that waiting period may be waived if the customer is switching from another home warranty company and provides evidence of existing coverage or if the customer can provide home inspection documents that are not older than 90 days.

For the first 90 days Elite will cover you for up to the total amount stated in your service agreement. Full coverage goes into effect on day 91. From then, you will have access to the full benefits of your agreement until the end of the term. This limitation is only applicable for new agreement holders and will not be applied to renewals.

Elite stands apart from other home warranty companies because it allows the customer to select any contractor that is licensed and insured in their state to repair their home equipment. Nonetheless, Elite also has a network of licensed service providers and technicians that can provide the required services.

Elite Home Warranty is an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau and currently holds an A+ rating. Its customer review rating on the BBB website is higher than most home warranty companies, string a 4.94 out of 5.
