Oticon Additional Services

Features and Price - 4 / 5

Oticon hearing solutions are based on the company's BrainHearing™ philosophy. That means they have been designed to support your brain’s natural process of making sense of sound.

Neither device pricing nor shipping information is available on Oticon'a website, as customers deal directly with health care professionals to acquire their hearing aids. Because the company's risk-free trial is administered at the discretion of these third-party professionals, Oticon does not offer information on their site about trial periods, either.

Battery Life - 3.5 / 5

You can contact Oticon by email to inquire about battery life and other details for its hearing aids. You can also connect with an Oticon authorized distributor through the company's website.

Oticon After-Sale Service

Customer Experience - 4 / 5

Oticon has a short, 6 question quiz to evaluate customers' hearing capacity. The quiz is not very thorough, but it's enough to advise users whether it would be wise to consider a visit with a hearing professional.

We found that specific information on each of the company's products was a little difficult to locate. It's there—but you'll have to dig several pages deep to find it. Oticon's website could be improved with a single pull-down menu that lets customers explore their hearing aid options easily, as well as a feature comparison chart.
Warranty Length
2 years
Warranty Coverage
Oticon hearing devices are covered by a limited warranty issued by the manufacturer for a period of 2 years and come with a year of protection against loss and damage. This limited warranty covers manufacturing and material defects in the hearing device itself, but not accessories such as batteries, tubing, earwax filters, etc. Problems arising from improper handling or care, excessive use, accidents, repairs made by an unauthorized party, exposure to corrosive conditions, physical changes in your ear, damage due to foreign objects entering the device, or incorrect adjustments are NOT covered by the limited warranty and may void it. Added to this comprehensive Oticon factory warranty is "Precise Hearing." This program gives you 45 days from the date you purchase your hearing aids to return them. If for any reason, you decide to return the undamaged hearing aids during the money-back period, the company will return the total price. However, the free-trial offer is administered by the hearing clinics that actually sell Oticon products at their discretion.

They are a great company . Never had any problems. Great service and great pricing They need to have a site where they show lost or stolen hearing aids

Paid a large sum of money for the Oticon More 3. Now 1.5 years into usage, the rechargeable batteries last less than 3 hours. Oticon says contact the audiologist, and audiologist says contact Oticon. So in essence they are a very expensive waste of money.

Not my first pair of hearing aids, this pair is awful. Whistles all the time, had the molds remade and they still don't fit well. Battery life is maybe 2 days. Now the left aid is going off and on off and on. I depend on my aids to work daily. I am a poster child for wearing them. I have had to go back to my old pair as a back up and I don't hear as well out of them. Sad to pay for something that I feel is junk. Even my family says that I have had nothing but trouble out of them.

After 9 days my Oticon mid level hearing aids stopped charging completely. The left was at 85% and the right was at 56%. I saw my audiologist and she gave me a new charger. The hearing aids charged for 2 days and then stopped charging again. After a week later of not charging and finally getting my followup appointment. She showed me how to remove the wax cores and replace the domes. The hearing aids worked for 2 days then stopped charging. My audiologist has been out for a week and my hearing aids have yet to get to a full charge after multiple 12 hour charging sessions, resets, making sure the light was on showing charge. For $4,000 hearing aids they have yet to work or charge... Read More

Have had 2 issues where they have been sent back to manufacture for repairs. The first one within a few months of having them. 2 less than a year. Instead of replacing them because obviously they are defective they did a repair that will probably hold long enough until the warranty runs out. I’ll not be buying Oticon products in the future. Unsatisfactory customer service.

I have taken these hearings aids back many times and they still are not right. Right one has virtually no sound unless you hold the wire and they are so tinty. I am taking them back again. I was told they were replaced but seems funny this so called new pair has the exact same problem!!

I bought my Oticon hearing aids less than a year ago. I have had problems with the hearing aids disconnecting while wearing them, and them restarting shortly after. The dealer sent them in and they gave me a new pair. Supposedly. After less than a month they started having the same problem. Today, after the startup chime, the right hearing aid stopped working. I’m totally disgusted with this brand and would not recommend them.

The Oticon 1 Minirite rechargeable hearing aids perform very well and the phone connectivity and mobile application are great features. This rating is low, however, because the Oticon no longer supports the use of the original ZPower rechargeable battery nor does the company recommend any other brands of rechargeable batteries. Their recommendation is to use the standard non-rechargeable hearing aid batteries for the continued life of the hearing aids. After 3 years, my hearing aids are no longer rechargeable per the manufacturer.

Model = More 3 miniRight R They are not compatible with the Google Pixel 6 which was released in October 19th 2021. What was I meant to do - buy an obsolete model just so its compatible with my hearing aids. Or keep using my broken pixe3. Unfair to customers. Who could tell at the time of sale that Oticon are super slow at keeping up with the times. This problem has made my daily life much harder.
