I have had the Oticon More 2 hearing aids fo a little over 2 years. I have had both at full capability for maybe 2 weeks in all that time. The noise reduction is insignificant. A foggy day will shut down the left one for water intrusion. If it gets actually wet I have to keep in a bag filled with desiccant cartridges for at least a day before it will take a charge. After getting wet it will never have more than 10 hours without dying. The company WILL NOT replace or repair. Oticon was a horrible decision on my part.
I have a pair of the Ocion More 3 and can't use them because I need molded ear pieces . I ended up getting a pair of a Widex brand.I have tried to find out if Ocion makes a molded ear piece but I can't find anything.
These are the worst hearing aids I've owned.
The blutooth is useless to the point I cannot take cell phone calls.
I've had hearing aids less than half the $6k I paid for rhese that were more reliable and their service and support is non-existent.
I have had my hearing aids for about one year. I have worn hearing aids for over 40 years these are by far THE WORST I have ever owned they have been in for repair several time replaced one and the cost of $5300.00 does not justify the issues with them. I have a 7 year old pair I use for backup and work very well
I have worn Hearing Aides for 30 plus years. I’m currently wearing Oticon 1 itc hearing sides. From almost day one jthrse hearing aides have had issues requiring them to to be sent in for repair. I believe 4 times in about 6 months. When I have to change batteries, they frequently won’t power up for anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours. The problem never gets resolved.
My Smart Charger for the oticon Mini-Rite R quit working within the first 45 days of use. I looked on Amazon and other places for a replacement and the minimum cost was over $200. I am a Navy Veteran and asked for a replacement charger through the VA but as the saying goes the check is in the mail. Still no replacement. Is their a German company that can offer a generic replacement so i don't have to worry about reliability. I have been over a month now without my hearing aids an absolutely can not afford the money they want for a replacement especially if it will only last a couple of months. Thank You
I have worn 'antique' Phonak aids for years but could never wear them outside due to the wind and handling noises. The Oticon Real aids that I am test driving are amazing in this aspect. I have been in 20+ mph sustained winds with gusting and with hair touching the aids, but no wind noise whatsoever! Truly amazing. I wore them to a play practice for a granddaughter. It was in an old theater with poor acoustics. I was able to enable the speech enhancement and could hear the director's instructions much better. Using the aids to talk on the phone is another issue. Summary: My provider could not activate all the features, or improve the fidelity, of the Oticon Real One aids, which I bought, until after the 30-day trial window.
I bought Oticon Real One aids, but they sounded horrible. Here's what they sounded like: Take the equalizer on your stereo tuner and turn all the base sliders down. Take the rest of the sliders (treble) and move them halfway to the maximum. I went back to the audiologist and they made adjustments. However, there was no improvement. They told me it would take some time for me to adjust to the aids. This product was completely unacceptable and I was near the 30-day return window. I got my money back.
I have worn Oticon HA's forever and they always sounded better than Phonak and others. My Last set was Oticon Opn1's and they were great, but feedback was always a problem. I recently replaced the Opn1's because the feedback problem and they were pretty old, so I got the Oticon More1R units. Unfortunately, the More1 units constantly distort when a new sound is introduced to the environment, I am in. The distortion is most noticeable in the speech frequencies, which is very annoying but also happens in every other frequency. The distortion is truly unnerving. I have been wearing the Oticon More 1 for over 2 years . The only issue I have is the cost of the wax stops for the mold. I get mine from the VA but have bought extra. They only last a week. I enjoy the streaming to my TV for that I say 3 1/2 stars.
