Fine Print

Unlike dental insurance, dental savings plans enable people with pre-existing conditions to get affordable dental care.

Members cannot use two plans in the same office at the same time. However, you can purchase more than one discount plan from Dental Plans to use at separate offices. For example, if your orthodontist participates in the Aetna Dental Access Plan and your general dentist participates in the UNI-CARE 200 Discount Dental Plan, you can purchase both plans to use at the appropriate office.

Most discount dental plans available on www.DentalPlans.com activate within 3 business days.

Summary

Dental Plans takes a different take into searching for a dental plan by offering a dental discount program. Instead of just offering dental insurance options, it allows you to opt for a dental discount plan that doesn’t require prior dental exams of extensive waiting periods. It gives you a clear set of dental procedure prices where it shows the amount of savings from those without a discount plan. However, Dental Plans does offer standard dental insurance options. A combination of dental discount plans along with your standard dental insurance choices makes Dental Plans an option that’s definitely hard to miss.

It's a SCAM! Worst customer service ever! It cost more with the plan than paying out of pocket... I should have read the reviews before purchasing the plan. I called them and asked for a refund within the 30 day refund period but no one answered so I left a message. I didn't hear anything back from them after a few days. I called again but they said it passed the 30 day period so I don't get my refund back, and even if it was within 30 days, they minus the $20 processing fees.
