Horrible!!! I had a rep called Rae --- totally misled me about everything! Would NEVER put me through to the cancellation department. They are underwritten American Auto Shield .... another fine ONE star company. Wish I could leave them a negative stars review.

IF I could give 1/2 star I would, STAY AWAY!! After 1 month of keeping my car at the repair shop CarChex 3rd party that is hired by them denied the claim. They said that a recommended service that was done was not done in time. "Recommended" When I called in numerous times to talk with the person handing the claim he was not available. Imagine that. After 3 weeks and 4 days the repair shop called me and they said it was denied. Again called the claims processor not available only to be given to a guy that didn't know a thing. Start over. This company does not want to pay on a major claim which would have been a transmission fix. The reason given they didn't have a n updated phone... Read More

Dan Woods is my representative. He was attentive and punctual in following up on the dates set to renew my policy. The costs were reasonable and any and all repairs to date have been handled proficiently. The only con I have at this point is that I still had 1,000 miles left on my first policy and I was asked to renew before that time / mileage was up in order to qualify for the continuation of the Titanium coverage. This would have been another month or 2 based on mileage being used. I would still recommend CARCHEX to others.

I had the opportunity to work with this organization to provide an extended warranty for my vehicle. The agent was very customer focused and knowledgeable about their programs. He validated what state I live in and noted that I work as a contractor who travels. The program that he presented was a great fit for my vehicle's age and condition. The pricing was also affordable.

SCAMMERS ! I HAVE THE TITANIUM PLUS $3,986.00. I have a mercedes e350 . I was told and also read that carchex will pay for whatever is covered at any repair shop of my choosing minus the 200 dollar deductable . I took my vehicle to Mercedes benz for repairs . My advisor from mercedes said that he finally got through to carchex after 3 days of extensive holds lasting hours . This is where the scam comes in .the total labor 687.00 parts 435.73 and tax 74.38 the total being 1197.11 ,carchex/carshield only authorized 679.95 subtracted my 200 deductable and was only willing to pay 479.85 . To my surprize after a week at the dealership i would have to pay 717,26 out of my pocket .... Read More
