Terrible! Both the products and service. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Technician arrived on 7/22/21. I explained that there were multiple things wrong with washer and we use a broom stick to swish the water (that would imply the agitator does not work, to anyone who is paying attention). I said none of the cycles work except "soak". We have been washing our clothes thru covid using a "soak" cycle and a broomstick. Lots of water wasted!!!!! The water level indicator is for the birds, it does not work right. Tech fixed ONE thing on the washer (the cold water intake part). He did not bother to test the machine in its entirety. Immediately... Read More

We had Sears Appliance Repair come out to fix our 2 yr old dishwasher. It's been 5 and a half months and not only is our dishwasher still not fixed...the technicians have damaged it to a point that it can't be repaired now and take no responsibility for their actions . Not only that but they flooded our sub flooring to the point where it was flooding our basement floor and pouring down on our brand new dryer and their response to this was to say "it'll dry up eventually" and leave. So after 5 and a half months...5 home visits...1 cancellation the day of...and one no show...we have a irreparable dishwasher, scratched floors, a flooded sub floor and basement, and a water logged dryer. And... Read More

Terrible. Been trying to get our refrigerator replaced for months now. This company must know they are on the way out because they just don't care anymore. Never have I dealt with such incompetence. One person will tell you one thing. You wait. Nothing happens. You call back. They act like they have no idea the other person told you one thing because now they are telling you another thing. If you have a chance, RUN from this company. This is honestly one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. Complete lack of integrity.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Do not use! The technician came out on June 16th and diagnosed that our washing machine needed a new door boot seal because the water leaked out of the front door when running a cycle. Please note, I wrote that the machine needed a new door boot seal under the “Your Special Instructions:” section when I made the initial appointment – why someone needed to come out and confirm I’ll assume is to ensure we were correct in our diagnosis - and we were. Once the machine was diagnosed, we were told the new part would be mailed to us within a few days and we set up a follow-up visit for the installation for June 29th. However, no part has been received to fix the... Read More

$169 just to have repair technician come to house, gave model number to operator and seems like evaporator fan is bad. Technician came and was evaporator fan. Didn’t have one with him. Charged another $370 to order and install!! Wait another 3 weeks for part and install. Rip off in my opinion. Dave

If there is a way to put in a more negative review, I wish I could provide such a review. DO NOT buy anything from Sears if you anticipate you will need warranty repairs. The service is the worst service I have ever experienced barring none. The answering service knows nothing about the repair technicians and can provide no real influence over the repair technicians irrespective of their poor service (and attitude). The repair technicians will lie about you not being home (after the best they give you is a 9 hour "window...that quickly expands to more than 12 hours) because "it's easier to tell Sears you weren't home than drive all the way to your house when I'm tired at the end of the... I ordered a basic tool replacement part for my Sears vacuum. Ordered it 3/30/21. My card was charged that same day. I eventually received an email (no reply option) that the part was back-ordered and would be delivered 06/15/21. I called 05/23/21 and talked to nice woman who said sorry, but it wouldn't be shipped until 06/15/21. Today is 07/11/21 and no further communication so I'll have to spend more frustrating time on the phone trying to get an answer or my money back. In my experience, Sears was always known for LOUSY service but this was the only place I could find a crevice tool for my Sears vacuum. DIsgusted.

I hired Sears to fix a problem with my GE refrigerator ice maker and freezer. The technician misdiagnosed the problem and I paid almost $100 for that faulty analysis. Moreover they couldn't even get the parts for two weeks for the repair they misdiagnosed . Sears service IMHO is awful. I recommend that other folks don't waste their money on Sears. It's a failed retail company now their failure extends to appliance service.

Microwave broke and has been under extended warranty for years. Parts not coming & local repair guy says Sears repair system has changed for the worse lately. Can't speak to a customer service rep and system was down - they kept telling me to call back. This is going on for weeks!!!! It is a microwave (hood above range but really, not a big ticket item). I will never buy anything again from Sears!!
