After calling over a week ago I was scheduled for a refrigerator repair yesterday, the repairman named Eddie driving either a Sears or A&E Factory Service truck; the repairman came to our house but didn’t make contact, just left a note, even though we had talked with him less than half-an-hour earlier and assured him that we would be home. Called the service center after the service call time frame and was told that somebody would contact me for repair that evening. Again, no call. Calls this morning are answered by a computer. I WANT THE SERVICE NOW! We have a maintenance contract, but it appears to be worthless. Although that contract is with Sears, I assume you have some part in this.... Read More
RUN!!! A&E is a terrible, huge corporation that has terrible customer service. We were lucky that we got a great service tech, but his hands were tied by the company to fix our refrigerators......both were down and not cooling. A&E is owned by SEARS and that's why we purchased the warranty on all our other appliances. It's worthless. Out tech, Chris, was actually in our driveway and A&E canceled our appointment! I don't blame him, he received the info from A&E dispatch. They said WE canceled the appointment! It took FOUR reschedules to get our refrigerators fixed. At least we had a great service tech. I have never experienced any thing like them. $800.00 Four service calls, 6 re-scheduled appointments ( them) and four months later. My refrigerator still isn't working. I call the guy that worked on it, he doesn't answer phone and doesn't reply to messages. DO NOT USE A & E WOULD BE MY SUGGESTION !!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! i HAVE A SEARS HOME WARRANTY THAT ISNT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON! AND THEY USE A&E FACTORY TO DO THE REPAIRS. i HAE ALWAYS HAD TO WAIT AT MINIMUM 2 WEEKS FOR ANY REPAIR JOB. WE HA D A REPAIRMAN COME OUT, COULDNT FIX HAD TO ORDER A PART TOOK 2 MORE WEEKS BEFORE HE COULD COME BACK, CAME BACK PUT NEW PART ON LEFT, I STARTED A LOAD ADN THEN WATER LEAKED ALL OVER MY LAUNDRY ROOM FLOOR DOWN THE VENT CALLED IMEDIATELY AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE ANOTHER WEEK BEFORE SOMEONE COULD COME BACK. I am so mad at your company. your people ordered 2 of the same part then made 6 different apts to install the part that was delivered on 4/27 (the duplicate order was in transit still) instead of cancelling the duplicate order you made me AM & PM apts on 4-28 and 4/29 and then cancelled me again and rescheduled for 5/2 I lost 3 days of work and now a fourth 1/2 day. AND THE PARTS WERE SITTING IN MY HOUSE DELIVERED ON 4-27 TEH ENTIRE TIME. No way to talk to a human being and your chat people were USELESS they lied to me 7 times
Contacted the company. Tech came and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts for my gas dryer. Parts came to my home via mail. Have not been able to get a technician to show up to repair the dryer. I scheduled the appointment and the appointment was confirmed several times. The technician never showed up and never called. It took three weeks to schedule another appointment and I am not sure if the technician will show up. There is no way to speak with a human. The online service is impossible.
I think this company is awful. We needed our washer repaired because it wasn't draining. The repairman came out and said it was a bad drain pump, and he started putting everything back together--but put the bad drain pump back on. He didn't have that part, so it had to be ordered. It's beyond reason that a washer repair truck wouldn't have a drain pump in it: they knew the problem, they knew my model, so why not just bring that part? Their website states that they have well stocked trucks, but that's clearly not the case. What happened next is the infuriating part. Samsung dishwasher with 4 broken rollers for utensil rack. Called for service. Gave person on phone the part # needed for the repair. Of course the tech did not arrive with the parts because he needed to diagnose the problem. Apparently they think all of us are idiots. He ordered the parts while here. A few days later one roller was shipped, not the 4 that are needed. Tried to contact re. the problem and only easily accessible option was a chat. Problem too complicated for a chat. Could not speak to a person. Their only advice was call and reschedule (automated) if the part has not arrived.
I called A&E Factory Service to trouble shoot a Frigidaire gallery dishwasher error code ER. Person came out, reset circuit breaker, ran diswasher and charged $160 for repair. Next day, dish washer was not repaired and shuts down, circuit breaker reset to turn on power. Called and was informed it would cost $700 to repair. I've since looked into what causes an ER code and ordered the control board and switch board and will do myself. I went through A&E Factory Service to help save time for a reasonable price. It did not save time or money. Unfortunately, that was my experience.
The technician that came out to my house for my dryer was very professional he explained things very well.
