Founded in 1982, Wine Insiders is an online retailer of wines from around the world. The company offers an exclusive selection of wines not found in stores or other online wine shops. Wine Insiders offers an excellent value with its introductory offer of 15 bottles for $89. Their introductory wines do not include any particularly pricey or highly-rated vintages, but quality seems to be on par with what you'll find at similar prices at large wine retailer chains and the collection offers a nice variety of wines produced outside the US. Similarly, their curated cases offer a lot of variety and afford wine drinkers the opportunity to explore new wines with every order.

Customer service is the worst if they cant handle call they hang up. Managers and supervisors are never available. I ordered 15 bottles they wanted to give me one for free, great. But they then separated the order into 2 without telling me. I got 2 emails telling me my order would be delivered today waited all day and 1 bottle came. I called got the usual runaround and still no supervisor. They tell me after 3rd rep that the order has not gone out yet and I would have to wait at home another day for delivery . I have been with them for a while and this is the worst that they have treated me. The customer service people are ignorant self centered people that should never answer... Read More

I canceled my groupon after I ordered a fifteen bottle order and then they bring out the fine print shipping cost. I'm glad I cancelled. It looks like the reviews are terrible!

We have ordered several times from Wine Insiders. Some shipments are prompt and others take weeks. We have received decent bottles of wine with most shipments. Nothing I would serve to guests or gift to anyone. The last shipment was a complete disappointment. Seven out of 15 bottles were "wine coolers"! That is wine mixed with fruit flavors with alcohol content between 5 and 7. When we complained they would not replace the wine. They offered either a credit to our account or a shipping label to return. Boo! Buyers beware.

I have ordered wine many times from Wine Insiders. Delivery has been prompt and I have never had a problem. I always purchase the wine for my son and he enjoys every bottle. I will continue to order with Wine Insiders in the future.

Charged for product not delivered. Customer service offers a credit on future purchase. This is a scam to get you to order more. There will be no future purchases. I will do no more business with this company and I strongly suggest you all follow suit. They get one star only because there is no option for zero stars

My first order was a groupon which went fine. I then ordered a number of bottles off the website that were on sale. I received an email confirming what I had ordered. When the shipment arrived, all the wines were different. I had ordered mostly white wine and what arrived was red wine. When I called, the agent told me most likely my selections had been substituted because what I ordered was not in stock. He said I would not be able to get the wines I actually ordered, even though when I ordered them they showed as "in stock" and I even received a confirmation email and shipping email with the wines I had selected. Can't go worng!!! If you are a wine snob, maybe this isn't your bag. Me on the other hand , I just wanted a nice dry red that didn't taste like "house wine". I was very impressed for the price they charge. I just ordered 75 bottles from their $5.00 clearance sale. I bought wines that I have never tried before because for $5, I would just dump it if I didn't like it. It has all been very drinkable, with some better than others and some amazingly delicious. Came to $5.70 per bottle after tax (pennsylvania) with free shipping. Nothing but praise!!!

I have been a customer for several years, with initial favorable results. Since then, I have had occasional down-the drain disappointments (one an embarassing dinner-invitation gift!)...the label was handsome. My recently purchased case (and my last!) seems to be all unusable. I mean REALLY foul, to the point where I hesitate to open the remainder. A real pity, because the delivery was really convenient.

Just not worth it, thought I was smart to get somewhat of a deal and have it shipped to grocery store for them to sign for it which is a great method. The day I was supposed to pick 15 bottles up, it was deemed damaged and shipped back to Napa. Days went by without any contact from them, when my item would be shipped out a new tracking number is provided. The lady was rude over the phone and said it can take days for them to realize it was returned, even though it was shown as "signed" back at Napa of them receiving it back. This company is a complete ripoff, the 100% guarantee is BS they won't replace any wine or give you your money back. The wines that were sent were cheap knockoffs and garbage. Save yourself grief and buy through a local wine store.
