DocuPop is not a lender or loan servicer and does not provide debt relief services, meaning it cannot help student borrowers renegotiate, settle, or in any way alter the terms of their loans. The company does, however, offer assistance with the preparation and submission of federal Direct Consolidation Loan applications. As part of its service, DocuPop ensures the accuracy and precision of all forms before submitting them to the U.S. Department of Education. Consumers should be aware that the company's full-service document preparation is NOT free and does not guarantee the approval of consolidation loan applications. Applying for consolidation is free and can be a straightforward process if done through the U.S. Department of Education, yet those who don't want to complete the application themselves or don't have the time to do it may benefit from this service.

I made a payment to an individual named Jesse Gathewright. He directed me to use the Docupop website. The link to create my password expired. From there it took weeks to get the issue resolved where I was even able to login to the website. Made calls myself to docupop, days where no one even picked up. Then when finally my paperwork was available for me to process - it's asking me for payment. NO RECORD OF THE PAYMENT I ALREADY MADE. Then Jesse asked me if I had paid. I gave him my credit card information over the phone. Overall... Read More
