Quality move! Everything went accordingly. My sales rep Alex was great. He walked me through the process of the move and made sure everything lined up with my request. The pick up in TX went as well as the delivery in Phoenix.
Excellent experience with IVL. I spent countless hours looking for a mover. IVL came highly recommended from several third-party websites. I contact them and Justin, Karin and Lisa handled my request. The movers did a great job packing, loading and delivering. Moving is very nerve wrecking so I was especially pleased that I found a good company.
I had a good experience with IVL and would use them again if needed. No damage, delays or any issues.
My move went great! Our sales rep Justin was very detailed and made sure everything went according to plan. My move was for a 4 bedroom house from FL to IL. Movers were on-time, packed well and I got my stuff in a weeks time. I received everything with no damage and would use them again.
Move from Florida to Maryland. The truck was an hour late arriving because they "had trouble getting help." The "help" they did get was day labor that had zero experience. Didn't know how to carry, stack or store any of the goods. Two hours after arriving they got into an argument with the driver and left. The driver and I both called IVL and were told that a replacement crew would be there within the hour. Four hours later, I still have a moving truck in front of my house and no replacement crew. ***BEFORE YOU BOOK, PLEASE READ*** The emotions I experienced throughout this process and after.... Anxiety, anger, fear, extreme stress, feeling that I have been cheated and stolen from. Have you ever been so angry and frustrated you wanted to cry...? I have not... until this. I had no idea a business could ever bring this level of emotion out of me. This was a nightmare. Literally the worst move we’ve had after over 15 moves. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Some highlights: 1. The movers forced us to move in one day, leaving after midnight: They didn’t leave until after 12am (midnight), despite us originally scheduling a two-day move with the company. My move was from Houston, TX to Miami, FL, back in August. The move was for a four-bedroom house. It also included a car and grand piano which needed special handling. The IVL crew sent a team of 5 men who proceeded to pack everything and handle my things with care. They sent a car hauler for the vehicle. My items arrived in about four days and without damage or any problems. The experience was good! I was very impressed with their crews, customer service, and my sales rep Justin D. It's the first time I had to work with a moving company, so I was nervous, but all in all my experience was great, and I would use them again if needed.
We encountered the WORST moving experience ever on Saturday through the company that International Van Lines sent us. Our quoted price almost tripled, he made us write him a personal check along with the money order we already had, they were supposed to be there between noon and 3, showed up at 6:30, had the first inventory sheet that we did over the phone (it still had the bikes, washer and dryer, smoker, etc), nothing that I had taken off or added to the inventory was listed. I hired IVL to ship my HHGs overseas. The company does not provide all of the information in regards to a shipment. I had many items damaged and missing. When I contacted the company I was told that I did not have insurance. But I should have been told about the contract that specifies Limited Liability from the company. When I mentioned it to the company they told me to stop sending them emails and that if I did they would be ignored. What a bad company and terrible service.
