Too bad I cannot give 0 Stars. I truthfully submitted a full inventory list of my move and was given a binding estimate of $8950. When the "real" moving company arrived ( These guys here are only brokers) they told me my move would be $5000 more and they don't care that I have a binding estimate. The estimate however says, that the cost of the move is "binding" if you don't add inventory or add services. I did neither. I told them to leave as I was not willing to pay $5000 and felt I was frauded. It get's better. I have to take them to court now to get my $3500 deposit back, which they kept as they state the contract says you only get your deposit back if you cancel 72h after you sign... Read More
Choosing Amerisafe Moving Company for my recent relocation was, without a doubt, a decision I deeply regret. The level of service I received was shockingly unprofessional, disorganized, and marked by a complete lack of respect for both my time and belongings. From the onset, it was clear that this company lacked basic organizational skills. The promised schedule was consistently disregarded, leading to a chaotic and frustrating moving experience. The movers arrived hours later than agreed upon, causing unnecessary delays and putting me in a precarious situation. Terrible experience. Incredibly slow, non-responsive, and no sense of responsibility or urgency. Worst of all, they failed to honor the insurance claim for the damaged items. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from AmeriSafe Moving Company.
Worst Company ever!! I was scheduled to move on a Friday - noone came or called. Then they said they would be arriving Saturday between 1 & 4. They did not arrive until almost 7:00 pm. They only stayed about an hour and said they would return at 6:00 am on Sunday. They came around 8:00 and finished loading the truck at 12:00. The delivery of the furniture was even worse. They arrived at the home when they said they would. All my boxes were labeled for what room they went in, but they proceeded to stack the boxes on top of each other in the garage, I now have a garage full of boxes that I have to spend hours to find anything. Never use this company! They are a lying broker firm that low balls the estimate only for the movers that show up to tell you the real cost! They are either complete idiots or complete crooks and my vote is for the latter.
DON'T USE THEM! Absolute scammers and will lie to you about every single detail. I was unfortunate to work with Collin Patricks who was dishonest from the moment he said hello. I was told my entire move would cost no more than $3,000 and it was scheduled for a Sunday. Movers showed up Saturday at 8am and told me in order to move me it would be an additional $1,200+ from all these additional "fees" including $500 from having to move me out of the back of the building instead of the front. Called the "supervisor" to address the conversation Collin had with me and asked them to pull the recording to hear how badly I was misled and was informed they dont have an IT department. Amerisafe saves the day. We unfortunately selected another mover who did not deliver as promised. We contacted Emmit at Amerisafe who got us scheduled within 48 hours. Guys were excellent. Polite and took care of our items. I would certainly bias them for any future moves.
Amerisafe was horrible. Stay away. They are a broker not mover. No communication, and many items arrived damaged They all lie especially Collin Patrick. Beware. They also estimated cost to be 10k, and when arrived said it would now cost $15k, we were moving from mass to Florida. Ugh. They say you get your stuff in a few weeks, it took 4. Please use someone else!! Movers all showed up stoned and for a 4 bedroom house, they sent 2 people. It took 8 hours they were so slow. Stay away!!!
I would not recommend this company for anyone moving out-of-state. I'll take ownership for my failure to read the contract from top to bottom. With that said, I didn't think I had to do this as the Amerisafe representative was on the phone speaking with my husband for over an hour, going point-by-point through the contract. We were told that the movers would "be right behind us" as we drove from NY to IN. Not until the movers showed up did we find out otherwise. We were also not told of the extra charges we would incur. These reviews are FAKE! DO NOT USE AMERISAFE!! Run as fast as you can they are a scam. We had a representative walk through a virtual tour of our house and quote us a responsible price only for the movers to show up and say they didn’t have enough space for the things that were listed and nearly double our quote. We were on a tight schedule and already paid the deposit so we went with it. Then we contacted them with our drop off date said we were planning to move in the 16th or 17th (we told them this on the 6th the 10 days they requested) then we called to confirm week of only to be told it would be at least another week from the date we gave and that date only starts a “10 day moving...
