DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They couldn't even provide proper trucks needed for my move. They hire a secondary mover but don’t disclose. They triple the price DAY BEFORE MOVE! Your items are damaged and/or lost. The secondary movers don’t secure you items didn’t even have a lock for truck. Then they switch out your entire belongings multiple times to different trucks. They don’t take all your items they agreed upon. They don’t deliver on time adding multiple nights at a hotel and further expenses for eating out, etc. Then don’t answer calls or even help you with the second parties insurance company when you hired them and paid them. Terrible service. Quote was given and was tripled before my furniture was delivered.
Do not use this company. Run, do not walk away. They give you a lower quote and answers all your questions with the answers they know you want to hear. All lies. After you sign the contract, the cost is forever changing. Every time I talked with them or the movers they assigned me, the cost went up. The day of the move the movers AmeriSafe outsourced me to showed up and demanded an additional $500 or the would not load my furniture and I would lose my deposit. We tried calling AmeriSafe but they were no help. They know they have you over a barrel and do not care. Do not use this company. Run to not walk away. They give you a lower quote and answers all your questions with the answers they know you want to hear. All lies. After you sign the contact the cost for us tripled. Every time we talked to them or the movers they assigned us to the cost went up. The day of the move the BBB non-accredited movers AmeriSafe outsourced to showed up and demanded an additional $2500 or the would not load our furniture and we would lose our deposit. DO NOT USE! AMERISAFE WAS CONTACTED TO MOVE A ONE BEDROOM APT. SALES PERSON WAS GIVEN ALL DETAILS AS TO ITEMS , SIZE , MEASUREMENTS AND NUMBER OF BOXES. A QUOTE WAS GIVEN AND DATE SET FOR PICKUP. AT PICKUP WHICH WAS TIMELY THE QUOTE DOUBLED IN PRICE ! Amerisafe was contacted and discussed issues to no avail. At that point we need the move and could do nothing. Items arrived within Two days of delivery date given and another fee wanted to be charged. Amerisafe did say e could get refunded for a100.00 fee which they didn’t even to not refund. I used AmeriSafe Moving Services over a year ago and they are NOT fast, safe or reliable. They never disclosed they were a "broker" and not the actual mover. By the time I found out which was 2 days prior to my move, it was too late to cancel as I would not have gotten my payment back. The actual movers they "pawned" me off on only picked up my goods but never delivered them. This company then "pawned" me off to another company who proceeded to scam me out of more money in order to deliver my goods.
