So happy we found these guys! We had hired another company, but they kept giving us the runaround, things like not sending us a contract, not showing up to deliver boxes or give us a quote, so, at the last minute, we told them to forget it, because we didn't trust that they would even show up.
This is the worst company! They started with a quote. Of $2500 then up to $5500. They arrived late and tried saying I had too much stuff. It was only a 2 bedroom with no appliances. The three guys that came were very rude and unprofessional. They tried saying I needed 2 trucks then came back and said one truck but it would be $11,500. And on the phone they guaranteed it would be to the new place in 4-5 days. The guys that came said they can keep my stuff by law up to 30 days. I am a single mom and had to deal with transporting my mom on hospice. I had to adjust my leaving date with my mom. They would not refund my deposit and did not even care as I cried my eyes out. There is no rating lower that a star for this company. After waiting for weeks for delivery of furniture from Clayton Ca. Picked up as told by 3 Russian men, I say that because they only spoke in Russian. My furniture was supposed to be delivered by a Tuesday, pick up was Friday. We moved to Idaho, with a promise, paid extra from the quote given to make sure it would be done. After 3 weeks and many calls everyday to customer service furniture (what was left of it arrived) Many expensive items lost, broken flat TV (the most expensive one) pictures and paintings... American Movers: Horrid and still waiting for items. My elder sister in Apple Valley, CA received a written quote from a real nice gal named Sam to relocate back to Spokane, WA. Day of move arrived, the driver showed up and told her if she wanted to move, she would have to come up with over 1,0000 more and on delivery have 1800.00 cash or postal money order for delivery of the items. She was alone, on oxygen and had trusted this company, but thank GOD she had a charge card to put the money demanded, or he stated he would drive away. Was moving from Florida to Arizona, they gave me a quote, I gave them a deposit. Per agreement it was totally refundable with a 45 day notice. Well plans changed and we had to move a month sooner than expected. We gave them almost a 60 day notice because we ended up moving ourselves. They didn’t want to give us the deposit back. After getting the law involved they finally sent me a check for a partial refund. Wouldn’t you know it bounced! So again got the law involved and I demanded a money order finally got it straightened out but it took over 6 months! Do not use this company! Total scam!!!!
I am going to be very detailed here so no one gets into trouble with this company or proactively you plan before engaging this company. WORST EVER experience you will get. While I am frustrated highly, you make a call after reading the below. 1. They are NOT movers. They are brokerage company and you will know after reading all why you should NOT go with brokerage compamny 2. They will give you two days window for pickup; and tell you someone will call a day or tow before the move.
