In contrast to many moving companies who disclose few facts about their operations and services, Allegiance Moving and Storage presents consumers with detailed, specific information about what it does and how much it costs. The company also makes clear that it is a broker, not a mover, unlike some of its competitors who seem to blur that distinction. These are encouraging, pro-consumer practices. Since the company is a newer player in the moving brokerage business, it remains to be seen whether it can successfully navigate the challenges posed by being in the middle between the consumer and the mover. Based on what we've seen, however, we'd be very tempted to give them a try.

Allegiance Moving and Storage gets high marks from us for the transparency of its operations. The company's website very clearly lays out charges and options and offers firm estimates. These disclosures give us confidence in its operations. However, the company has only been in business for about a year, so unsurprisingly there isn't a lot of information available about its reputation among its customers. To date in 2019, the company has had 16 complaints lodged against it with the Department of Transportation. Most of these concerned problems with estimates and final charges, shipping documents, and pickup/delivery. The company's reviews on the BBB website are mixed, though a majority are largely positive. Allegiance has no reviews on Trust Pilot. Since it is a broker, not a mover, Allegiance's reputation is largely dependent on the behavior of its moving contractors. Careful consumers should investigate the reputation of the mover Allegiance proposes contracting their move to; that will yield a much more useful picture of customer satisfaction levels.

As a broker rather than a mover, Allegiance doesn't have a fleet of its own. As your advocate through this entire process, Allegiance works closely with the carriers that are in their network and prices and sells the loads according to the carriers' tariffs and the accepted rates. Allegiance has a five-step carrier vetting process. Consumers who are interested in finding out about the number of drivers and trucks their mover has should look up that information once they are told which mover Allegiance plans to assign the project to.

If you ever have a large move and need someone you can rely on Allegiance moving and storage is your place to call!! Don’t hesitate having them help you during this stressful and overwhelming time. I have a 5 bedroom home and moving across 8 states with all my items and family had me on edge until finding them. I not only received my home items in the time advised but all in one piece. Thank you dearly and I know who to call if I need to move again, which hopefully wont be for a very very long time.

Thank you Allegiance moving and storage for all you hard work in helping me move my elderly parents from UT all the way to FL to be closer to the family. After weeks of organizing, packing, and decisions on what to donate or leave, my parents are finally in their new home and close to my kids like they always wanted. I am relieved that all my childhood memories were intact and my fathers carpentry tools, projects and priceless items are safe and sound. Thank you for never making us feel like any question was absurd and keeping us updated on every call. Highly recommend this company especially to families such as ours.

I used the services of Allegiance moving and storage to ship my home items from KY to CA back in March and due to unforeseen circumstances needed to have my items stored for over a month. Allegiance moving and storage was able to accommodate my needs and also not charge me for the month and a half I needed them to hold my stuff. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a last minute or even pre planned move.

I used the services of Allegiance moving and storage to transport my utility trailers last month and I was not only surprised but overall shocked at the amazing price but the customer service and vast communication I received. They were able to transport all three of my utility trailers last minute since my previous transport company fell through from UT to FL and I was able to immediately get back to work as I own a pressure cleaning business. Thank you Allegiance for helping me get back on my feet fast and provide the service I so badly needed.

There are many things to consider when moving, especially cross country but Allegiance moving and storage made the moving of my home items so much easier than any other company I have used before. They were honest and realistic to what my needs were and jumped to action from the first call. Thank you to the Allegiance moving and storage team for all your hard work towards my move.

I want to say thank you to the customer service team for the amazing help they have given!! Jackie couldn't have been more nerve calming and down right a pleasure to speak to during this last minute stressful cross country move. I was very shocked by not only the fast but reliable service of Allegiance moving and storage. They were trusted with priceless items and delivered them safe and sound to my new studio allowing me to have one less thing to worry about when moving to a new town. I was left at ease from the first phone call from the verification department to the last box brought into my home. I would recommend them to anyone or any family moving locally or out of state.

I was very pleased with the attention to detail and amazing care Allegiance moving and storage took with my items. I have a huge art collection and also musical instruments and was shocked by the level of care and delicacy they had with my items. They made sure that everything was secure and wrapped properly for not only transportation but for the time I needed the items held in storage. Thank you for your honesty and precision with my move.

Excellent crew, efficient and very careful. Don’t forget to Tip the folks generally! A smooth move is the best thing to relieve the stress moving and that’s what they do! Punctual, efficient, polite, and careful with all our belongings. Couldn’t ask for more. They did all that I asked for. They even fixed a doorknob for me at my old place which I was obviously going to be charged for from my old tenant. Awesome work guys. Thank you.

I couldn't have asked for a better moving company than Allegiance moving and storage. They were thorough and allowed me to update my home goods list even on the day of my pick up when I still wasn't sure of what I was taking or donating. They followed through with all the accommodations I had requested and their customer service department was amazing. I was very lucky with an amazing team to help me with this move from start to finish. Thank you Allegiance team for your help, patience and overall customer satisfaction.
