Each mattress is made from two layers of natural latex with different comfort levels, so customers can customize their firmness level as needed. All Metta® Bed mattresses are hand-made from fully organic raw materials, in compliance with the Global Organic Textile Standard. All products are also GREENGUARD Gold certified, indicating it meets UL's highest standards for low emissions, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and pollutants. The company offers a non-transferrable, pro-rated 20-year warranty, meaning that after 10 years, repairs or replacement will be based on a 20/2 percentage basis. During the 11th year, customers will receive a repair or replacement credit equal to 20% of the original price. The credit will decrease by 2% each year for the following nine years. The warranty will cover depressions within latex foam products greater than 1.5" caused by deterioration, and physical flaws such as cracks or splits. If the defects are found to be legitimately under warranty, Metta® Beds will repair or replace the product, as it deems fit.

Metta® Beds offers an interesting 120-night sleep trial, during which the company will exchange comfort layers at no cost, so that consumers can adjust their preferred firmness, from plush to medium to firm. Once a request is submitted, a company representative will contact the consumer within 48 hours to coordinate the exchange. Customers must ship back their returned layer within 14 days of receiving the new layer, using a prepaid freight label and detailed packaging instructions. Additionally, consumers can return an unopened mattress package within 30 days of purchase to receive a full refund.
