According to a study conducted by the company, users of the Nectar mattress fall asleep 20% faster than people on other mattresses. Nevertheless, customer feedback for Nectar has been less than stellar, with clients complaining about shipping issues and product defects. Consumers considering a Nectar Sleep mattress should be aware there may be shipping delays and other customer service-related setbacks. Nectar describes the firmness level of their mattress as medium firm since it offers the support of a firm mattress with the comfort of a pillow top. Nectar's mattresses are made from four different, special grade performance layers and a cover made from Tencel (which is bedbug-resistant) and long-staple cotton, as well as an aloe-based cooling layer that assists in wicking away heat. The foam layers include Lush, a semi-open, fast-recovery memory foam; a 3" memory foam with medical-grade cooling and recovery levels; and lastly, a high-density base foam. Unlike some spring mattresses which can sag at the edges, Nectar designed their mattress with consistent support and firmness throughout.

In addition to the Nectar mattress, Nectar also has begun offering the Nectar Premier and the Nectar Premier Copper. The Nectar Premier offers 13 inches of premium layers and dual action cooling. The mattress consists of a cooling cover; 3" of gel-coated memory foam with surface infused phase change materials; 3" of soft transitional foam; and 7" of high density base foam. The memory foam is innovative because it is of a higher density than what is traditionally found in memory foam mattresses.
The Nectar Premier Copper is a 14-inch mattress with premium layers and triple action cooling technology. The mattress has four layers consisting of a poly blend cooling cover with copper; 4" of high density, gel memory foam with surface infused phase change materials; 1" of soft transitional foam; and 9" of supportive high density base foam. The Nectar Premier and the Nectar Premier Copper are both available in all the same sizes as Nectar's primary mattress.

Nectar offers a 365-night sleep trial, after which, if a customer wishes to return the mattress, the company will remove the mattress and process a full refund, at no cost to the consumer. According to the company, less than 3% of their customers return their mattresses. However, it's important to note that some exclusions do apply. Nectar also provides a generous lifetime warranty for their mattresses. Essentially, this means that their mattresses will be covered for as long as their customers choose to keep them.

This time period, however, is divided into two periods. During the first ten years of ownership, Nectar commits to completely replacing their mattress at zero cost to the consumer. Subsequently, the company will repair and re-cover the mattress or replace it, at their discretion. If manufacturing defects are determined to exist, the company will waive all transportation charges. They also offer the Choice option, in which customers keep their original Nectar mattress in the years 10+, opting for a brand-new Nectar mattress at 50% cost, instead of repairing their previous one.

For Nectar's warranty to be applicable, the mattress must be placed on an appropriate base, such as a platform bed. It must also be kept by the original owner, as it is non-transferable, and will cease to apply if the mattress has been abused or used incorrectly. Body impressions of less than 1.5" are deemed normal, and will not be covered.

I love my Nectar mattress. I have had no issues with delivery, it was very prompt. It is comfortable & I do turn it every month or two. It is very comfortable & I am very satisfied with my purchase. My son was visiting & he had nothing but good things to say about my mattress.

I DON'T ever give a comment about anything I buy (or my wife does, as I am actually just a bystander). She ordered our mattress 2 years ago and when it got here it stunk and I bitched (of course). I just got thru rotating it for the 10-12th time and it is PERFECT. The son of a bitch is in perfect condition just as when we first unrolled the damned thing back in 2018. I sleep like a log on the (what I used to refer as a "gun case" mattress). It has caused a lot of friction between my wife and I because it's another "Oops, you were right about this thingy" - but we have gotten over another of those thousand things. It's a hell of a mattress!!!!! I have to give it 6 stars.

I had an okay experience from Nectar. I ordered online June 13, 2020 and the confirmation email said it would be 2 weeks, due to the COVD-19. I can understand that as there would be understaffing in all areas, including the CS phones. If in fact their main office is in CA, COVD is a real issue. Anyway, I did email Nectar about a week later for status and it took Jay a couple day after for a reply, for what it was worth. I knew there might not be any real update due to the pandemic and possible personnel shortage, but received a reply. Don't bother with this company unless you like spending hours, yes hours on the phone with customer service, waited for over an hour to reach customer service, was told I would be put on a brief hold, i guess a brief hold is 35 minutes then I was hung up on. I hate to see what a lengthy hold would be like. Id love to tell you about their mattress however I did not receive it yet, hence the phone call to them to begin with. Thought perhaps a chat would be quicker, I was #259 in line, I did drop down to 218 at one point but then for some odd reason it kicked me back up in line. Wish I could give them a lower rate but 1 star is as low as they come.

The first Nectar mattress I received lasted only a couple of months before it became unsleepable. It took me several months and dozens of emails with photos to get a replacement. every time I submited what they asked for it always something else they needed. I have had my new mattress about 6 months, and still use it, but unless I get in exact same spot it is lumpy. I would never recommend this mattress to any one, its not worth the trouble. pete hinson foley, al.

I purchased the queen-sized mattress, wood frame, pillows and sheet set. Everything arrived within 10 days. Setup was easy. You do have to leave the unrolled mattress alone for one night to take form. Initially I was afraid it might be too firm, but it didn't take long to realize I was wrong. This is the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. I have never fallen asleep so fast.

My spouse and I are preparing to house guests and ordered a mattress from Nectar. We received a confirmation e-mail right away that stated shipment in 2-3 days. Nectar also charged my credit card the day after my order. It's been 10 days and not only have I not received my mattress, but I haven't even gotten a shipment notification. I e-mailed customer service, but didn't get a response. I finally got through to their phone reps and was told that my shipment would take at least a week. Nectar has a good mattress but terrable customer service. I purchaseed a fram to go with the mattress and put it on my credit card Nectar has charged my credit card 3 times - when I called them and showed them the proof they say they will get back to me and never do. They advertize free returns but when you try to return something they again say they will get back to you and bever do. Beware in dealing with this company.
