Since its founding in February 2004, Otel.com has quickly become one of the lead websites for hotel bookings. They have a 6.7 out of 10 score on TrustPilot, and no BBB rating appears, either under their own name or their parent company, MetGlobal.

DO NOT BOOK FROM THIS COMPANY! They will take your money online with the offer advertised, then when you arrive at the hotel, you will have no reservation because the Otel.com offer was never approved by the hotel. I then had to pay the full price again with the hotel despite already paying Otel.com (metglobal.com and Hotels Pro same company). Otel.com promised to resolve it by paying the hotel so that I can get refunded the second charge, but they're company credit card from Istanbul DECLINED. I've had to put in a dispute with my credit card company for Otel.com's charge since it was never resolved with the hotel and had to pay for twice!
This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I flew in from Miami on Saturday morning and spent the entire day in LA and then drove down to San Diego. We arrived at the hotel at around 11:30pm and exhausted. To my surprise the hotel did not have my reservation. After almost 2 hours of back and forth between otel.com, the front desk and some 3rd party company that is said to be the "middle man" the front desk suggested I head to a room they had available so they could sort it out and we could get some rest. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I reserved a room on April 19th, 2018 and when reserving, it said that I had until May 17th, 2018 to cancel it without NO charges and would not be charged until then. Tell me why after reserving the room, I was charged the ENTIRE amount and it said that I can cancel by APRIL 17th with no charges or penalties. WHAT THE HECK! Am I suppose to travel back in time to do this? Then when I submitted a complaint to the company they told me I reserved the room on April 17th and it is too late to cancel with no penalties. WHAT??!
