Overall Rating: 9 / 10 (Excellent)

ForeverCar is, unfortunately, a very limited purveyor of car warranties. With a low liability limit and a contract mileage cap, they only offer their services under strict parameters. There is not much of an upside to this, considering their average policy suite and limited number of specialties. Most unique is that ForeverCar provides two options in terms of waiting periods, which not many of its competitors do. Despite ForeverCar’s strong online reviews, we find that the strict policies outweigh all else. To that end, we recommend that those interested in purchasing a vehicle warranty shop elsewhere.

Coverage - 9 / 10

At ForeverCar, their policies’ payouts are capped between $12,000 and $15,000. Up to that amount, their powertrain, named component, and exclusionary tiers cover everything encompassed within the confines of the specific policy. Unfortunately, their specialty coverage only offers lock-out protection, which is limited, though their additional benefits make up for it.
Limit of Liability: Total payout varies between $12,000 to $15,000

Claims & Repairs - 9 / 10

After a policy has been selected, customers must wait a certain period of time before submitting a claim. With the option of 30 days and 1,000 miles, or 90 days and 200 miles, ForeverCar’s waiting periods are able to accommodate vehicle owners with different priorities. Upon successful completion of the waiting period, policy holders may submit claims with any in-network repair facility. At that time, a deductible of $50 or $100, as well as a full record of services rendered, is required.

Service Contract - 9 / 10

Compared to its competitors, ForeverCar has unique contract terms. Limited to four years or 100,000 miles driven, they're careful to cap their consumers while the terms of the user agreement are still relevant. Beyond this, cancellation comes with a full money-back guarantee within the first month after purchase.

We have a Ford F350 and purchased an extended warranty through Forevercar that did not cover any repairs over the last 6 months. My husband spoke with a representative and said we were interested in the upgraded warranty and the rep sold us a lower grade warranty that did not cover any of our repairs over the last 6 months. We have paid for a $3500 warranty and have had to pay for over $10,000 in repairs over the last 6 months. I requested to upgrade my warranty and was told I could not do an upgrade. After speaking with the warranty company again they said I could cancel my current contract and start a new one that would cover more. I moved forward with this option and was quoted on... Read More

warch out where you take your car, dealer is excluded unless you want to pay outta pocket for labor rates that forever car doesn't pay for but they said I can go to the dealer when I signed up. They only pay for one day of car rental when we had the rental for a week, they choose the parts you should have instead of the dealer because they say they can get it cheaper and the parts are not original manufactured parts, so ask lot and lots of questions before choosing these guys, you know the saying "You Get What You Pay For" so watch out!
