Every few months you have to contact customer service to have your Sideline number "refreshed" or you'll miss calls because your phone won't ring. If you don't mind looking unprofessional to your clients or repeatedly fixing Sideline's bugs for them, this is the app for you.
I have not had any problems with this app and it has worked perfectly fine. It's annoying with all the nonsense calls I could screen at the office but having text ability away from the office works great. I just wonder if I can cancel my OOMA service from where I ported the number or not?
The customer service is horrible. I am trying to port my number out and they are holding it hostage. They will not give me an answer. I used this number before sideline and ported into sideline and they will not get back to me. I am considering hiring an attorney at this point. all they tell me is I have escalated your request. this is ridiculous. I will make sure to let everyone know how horrible this company is.
DO NOT GET this app. lots of problems-- problems with incoming calls, the calls cut out when call waiting, frequent voice distortion, and the team number feature causes problems so you can't use it if you want other things to work. Thee customer service agents refuse to even tell you their names, let alone help. You're better off elsewhere.
