The standard features included in all plans are significant for their price points, and their higher-end plans include cutting-edge technology such as call analytics. Their services also include low international rates as well as international phone numbers that facilitate business customers's global expansion.

Phone.com is appealing to Hispanics as they offer a version of their website in Spanish and a customer support center in Spanish, albeit with a limited schedule, which may affect those working late at night. However, the English-speaking support center is available 24/7 through phone or live chat.

Compared to competitors, Phone.com's prices are on the lower end. In addition, their services are adaptable to phones customers already have, which also lowers the cost of the service. Their services can be adapted to work on analog phones, mobiles, computers, and IP phones customers already have, thereby decreasing cost. Customers may also buy desk phones, conference phones, analog telephone adapters, and accessories such as expansion modules from Phone.com. Their computer app, Phone.com Communicator, can be purchased for $5, but their Apple iOS and Android apps are free. Once downloaded, the computer, tablet, or mobile phone with the app will have a Phone.com VoIP service.

Their uptime has been 100% since February 2009, but they do not make this guarantee on their website. In terms of recent incidents, their last reported one was in September 2018 when a partial service impairment occurred, but it was resolved. Their most comprehensive unlimited plan, Pro Unlimited Plan, includes all of the above-mentioned features.

Customers may also pick and choose the features they prefer and get a customized plan from Phone.com that is within their budget.

Phone.com offers local U.S. numbers, which can be customized or be toll-free. In addition, it can issue customers an international phone number that forwards to their Phone.com account. See below for the details on the pay-per-minute plans and the most basic unlimited plan, the Base Unlimited Plan. The other two unlimited plans have the following perks:

a) Plus Unlimited Plan - For $37.99 per month (but lowered to $32.99 monthly if customers pay on an annual basis), customers get unlimited monthly minutes and user extensions, 2 local or toll-free numbers, 10,000 SMS messages, 500 bonus minutes (for extensions added that are not subject to an unlimited plan), premium hold music, one free automated voicemail to text transcription, plus all the features included in the Base Unlimited Plan.

b) Pro Unlimited Plan - This is their most comprehensive plan.
