Do NOT use this company. They will find every possible way to deny any claim you have! Don't waste your time or your money! Make sure you have liability coverage for any drunken guests that do something foolish -- your insurance company can get you a good umbrella insurance policy on top of your homeowners insurance. That's a better use of your money than having an insurance company that "makes up" excuses so you won't get paid, no matter what! I used WedSafe for my daughter's wedding in 2017. We had an unprecedented heat wave (105 degrees) which was something that had never occurred before in our coastal California town where 95% of the population, the churches and the venues do... Read the contract. It doesn't what most people would want covered. Such as: 1 - Maximum payout for non-refundable deposits, such as catering and venue, are only 6% of the total coverage amount. Which means a for a $3000 deposit for venue, you need a 50k policy, and you would only have enough coverage for your venue and no other vendors. For a 30k wedding, one might spend closer to 7k in deposits. 2 - They only consider an 'event' if over 50% of attendees cannot attend. If your parents or your wedding party can't show, you don't get coverage. 3 - They do not cover weather related events or delays due to weather or natural events. For example, if you cant get there because of a... Read More

Very poor communication. I purchased insurance for my son's wedding. I didn't receive a copy of policy or certificate of insurance. I filled one line out wrong. I was not notified of this, yet money was pulled from my account. 4 emails and 3 phone calls later, I still have nothing. I have had to re-email information I had already given. Nothing could be done over the phone, only by email. If I don't have the policy by the next business day, I will ask for a refund.
