So far Independent Home has not taken care of the problem with my tub. A service man came out and said it had been installed wrong with the extender in front of the tub rather in the back. Because of that i have water that runs onto the floor when the shower is used. We have not used the jets because the salesperson did not tell us we needed to make sure we had a 50 gal water tank to fill the tub with hot water! Consequently it is going on 2 years and all we get is "we can't help. But if you had called sooner....." Well, when I found out last fall it wasn't installed correctly I have made several calls.

I had a tub installed in my home for my mother last month. I met with a few companies and decided to go with Ari at IndependentHome. He was helpful in answering my questions and was able to get the tub installed just 3 weeks later. My mother loves the jets and uses it all the time. Tony was the person who installed it for my mother and he has been back at the house helping with other things as well. Tony is a gem and deserves a raise! Great people and a great tub

We have been battling with Independent Home for over 2 years now. Their installer did not connect the plumbing behind the shower correctly which led to water damage of the sheet rock and baseboard. The person they sent out to review the situation was very polite and cooperative but when he reported the situation back to Independent Home, they refused to repair the water damage and said they would only fix the plumbing problem. We are now opening a claim with our homeowners insurance so they can deal with Independent Home (disasters). STAY AWAY FROM INDEPENDENT HOME, THEY SUCK! Arden P.

Don't buy! Have been waiting 4 months for someone to come fix our tub! Can't even use it, what a waste of a lit of money!!! They say they are going to come but never do, no lifetime warranty! Less than a year old and can't get it fixed!

We were shopping for a walk in tub. Contacted several manufacturers and had appointments with several. The person from Independent Home was the 3rd one we talked to. The day after he came I get a call from the regional Sales VP in New York and he is asking how can we win my business. I ask several question pertaining to some complaints I had seen on the BBB sight. I have been waiting for three weeks to get some to fix my walk-in-tub. It leaked water all over my bathroom. I have called them many times during these three weeks and someone named Jennifer answers and promises that someone will call, but no one calls me or either I am put on hold because all the agents are busy. What will it take for them to honor their warranty?

Warranty service is nonexistent. I have been calling for 4 days on water jets that do not work! Tub is 1 month old.

I purchased a walk in tub from Independent Tubs last November, 2020. So far they have been out to fix a couple of things. The salesman, when I bought the tub, said I would be able to recline enough to cover my shoulders, NOT. Supposed to be anti-slip, NOT. Supposed to have an extended showerhead, NOT. Front now keeps falling off. No response to my calls. I reported to Consumers Affairs and Independent would not respond so CA closed the case. To top all that I fell getting out of tub. In my opinion, the tub is not worth the price, especially for someone like me, retired and on a fixed income. Customer service does Not exist with this company.
