In September 2022, I had one of their walk in tubs installed in my home. They completed the installation, gave me instructions, then left. I could not wait to try out the new tub and all of those jets. I am 71 years old, disabled and I was excited to say the least I filled the tub and enjoyed the jets and bubbles. I was calling my veteran friends to tell them to get one. So after my bath, I drained the tub. I opened the door. Low and behold, water drained right out on my 6 month old laminate wood flooring. I decided to wait a month before writing this review as I wanted things to get much better than they are. I purchased a walk-in tub due to my brother’s recent MS diagnosis. He needed something to be able to get in and out of the shower with ease. I also thought the advanced therapy jets for the legs would help with his circulation. I thought it would be beneficial for my elderly Mom, who is a dialysis patient. You go in thinking you are making such a huge change to make things better. Buyer beware! Worst experience of my life. Took 5 weeks to get it (I could live with that) then when installed the hoses on all the jets were leaking. Customer Service was contacted by Lowe’s Rep. and was told it would be 3.5 weeks before they could get a tech out to fix. I personally contacted their Customer Service and that was pitiful. Ended up getting parts thru mail (most parts not even pertinent) but still no tech. 3 weeks go by and they finally approve my contractor to repair and still keep warranty in effect ( WE WILL SEE ON THAT ONE). One of the worst companies! The sales rep comes to your home and gives a wonderful job telling you all the great things about the walk in tub. We bought the tub knowing it is something we need due to health issues my husband and I have. The crew they sent out to install the tub had no idea what they were doing. A job that we were told would take 3 days took 7 days. The molding around the bottom of the tub was not measured correctly so they tried to cover up their mistakes with caulking. I am into my second year tying to get a crew back out to correct their mistakes. When they left we were told they would be coming back after they are scheduled. When I called I was told the guys... Beware of American Standard Seriously reconsider purchasing a walk in tub from American Standard / Safety Tubs. You should purchase one from another company and bypass this organization. American Standard would rather stiff a Veteran and his Handicap Spouse then do the right thing. I had attempted to purchase a Liberation walk-in tub from Safety Tubs LLC in April of 2021. The Salesman used shady pressure tactics to show he was lowering the price but, I had to commit on the spot. No time to consider the offer. Trying to get my leaking walk-in tub fixed. Leaking after one year around the door. Would not recommend this company to anyone. They are supposed to be a great company with a great product. So far my experience has been anything other than great.

Customer service is iffy. I called about a leak a couple of weeks ago, and still getting the run around. Having to take showers is dangerous for me, but they don't seem to care about getting someone here to fix the problem. First they say they're sending the replacement part to me, and then they say the repair guy has the part. He never answers the phone, so I leave messages that never get returned. Sorry I chose this company.

Love the walk in tub but service is questionable. I paid over 16 grand for this tub in November 2020. I have a problem with the shower. Has no water pressure. You cannot take a bath in the tub because it takes almost 50 gallons of water. Called service on Friday at 2:45. Said they would send part to serviceman. Called Monday to see when this would be fixed. They called back Tuesday and said part was sent Monday and would probably be to service man by end of week. I have NO shower! Why would they not send the part next day to service man? Very disappointed in service!!!

I was lied to by the sales person, I felt pressured to get this because of my wife's medical problems, I was told how great this is for medical issues, then later informed by her DR that a tub is NOT recommended for some one with her condition. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE BUYING. Also received a letter from a real property finance company, this was supposed to be a NON secured loan. When I called to cancel I could not get thru to ANYONE at the numbers on the contract OR the finance Co.
