This is the biggest scam I have ever ran across. After paying $7500 for help, over the course of 2 and half months, I could not get anyone to talk to me or send me an accounting of what they were doing or what had been accomplished up to that point. I asked for a refund and that is when even the tax preparer person quit talking. They have actually done NOTHING FOR ME and have not refunded one dime. I was contacted 3 weeks ago by one Mark Kriesel and he said, " Hi Susan, I have forwarded your email to upper management to contact you."
As of this time, no one at all has contacted me.
A bit over 2 and a half years since I came to this business for help, my Offer In Compromise has been rejected a SECOND time because the IRS said I can sell my house and pay them in full.. Never mind that then I would be homeless. First time is because the agent I was working with didn't submit my paperwork on time so I had to start from scratch. My income to living expenses is negative, so how in the heck were they unable to help?!!! I was told at the beginning I was a perfect candidate for an Offer in Compromise! I have emailed Tax Hardship Center and texted them with NO response. All I received for using their service was more penalties and late fees and I'm out $4K. I trusted... Read More
I was not impressed with the services. Essentially, they did what I could have done but cost me $3k. This is the second time I have been burned by one of these companies. The "sales" people do a great job selling it. Anyway, I would encourage you to save the $3k and call the IRS yourself and give the money to them directly.
